The GPU (9800SE@PRo) is the bottleneck as you see. Time for a X800 XT !

I see that you they have the spesific lenghts in inches(1/4")
But Im form norway, and here we only use Centimeters(cm) :slobber:
can anyone tell me the spesific lenghts of the mounting plate on top of the evaporator in centimeters?(cm)
Im planing to make my own allredy tomorrow.
:D
google can :)

EDIT: Btw, can anyone tell us whats up with that sizzling sound kakaroto is talking about? I've had it with both my 3.0C and my 2.0A, where the only component being the same is the graphics card (TI-4200).
But my ears tell me it's the CPU. But why is it only when scrolling? And only when i use the wheel on the mouse, the arrow keys or the (top/buttom) arrows on the scrollbar, not when using the scrollbar (pulling).
Wierd...
Its not the CPU, the coils around the CPU socket make noise, thats because they move very fast..thats why you will hear some sizzleing.Quote:

Eh, your coils are moving very fast? :ROTF:
haha, what is it then?
Well, most likely it's the coils you hear or even the caps but how on earth do you see them moving very fast?
Some mobo's have a high pitched noise coming from the coils, glueing them to the PCB with hotglue solves this. ;)
cause when i touch them, the sizzle is gone...Quote:

Anyway with the prometeia on i dont hear it anymore :p:
You mean they vibrate with "move very fast" right?
Just glue them to the PCB with some hotglue and you're set.
Yeah thats what i mean, my englisch is sometimes not that OK use the wrong words ;)
I think virbrate = moving (Bewegen toch? :D )
Nothing wrong with the way you said it Kakaroto... when something vibrates it moves so you saying "it moves very fast" is fine.
BTW, everyone seems to hate this sound... except me. I can tell how my PC is running by this sound. I have it on a KVM switch and without evening switching to it I can tell it's crunching away... or uploading... or gasp... crashed. :D
LOL Vibrate= trillen ;)Quote:

Here is a list to make it easier.
IN mm
1 = 25.400
2 = 50.800
3 = 76.200
4 = 101.000
5 = 127.000
6 = 152.000
7 = 177.800
8 = 203.000
9 = 228.000
10 = 254.000
11 = 279.400
12 = 304.000
24 = 609.000
1/2 = 12.700
1/4 = 6.3500
3/4 = 19.0500
Good luck, show us some pics :D

Mem: 276MHz 2-2-2-5 1T @3.42v
Finally also hit 29SEC superPI 1M :banana:
Very difficult to hit with 512KB...must hit insane mem speeds to compensate 1MB and Dual channel.
