SAE, those are some crazy clocks - a thing of art with all that has to be done on this platform to achieve that. Reading this makes me want to jump back to NF2 for kicks and see what a DFI would do. I went through about 4-5 NF7-S's and they all worked like crap with my memory.
It's determined by the bios (thx OSKAR :D) every way of modding it defaults to 200MHz. So just the ordinary 166MHz NF7 mod.Quote:

Who said the DFI don't need it!? It's been clear for quite some time there's improvements in usability with higher multipliers :)
Hehe. Yeah. Fact is, the DFIs don't perform like that everyday at same settings - nothing changed! Yep. So stay with what you have, is my advice, cause this way you'll stay calm, nice and enthusiastic... :D (with DFI it could happen you'd get a nervous, unhappy, swearing pc user LOL)Quote:

I think you just described a NF7-S userQuote:

I thought nf7-s users are all happy, satisfied people drooling about their stability :D
166MHz romsip should be tighter in original bios releases, but those fellow modders out there did us many favours :DQuote:

Interestingly, Enduracell has used the same ROMSIP on all fsb's on the AN7, meaning you dont need the L12 mod to 166.
This is like going back in time really. :p:
I had L12 mods in place since August last year, being a Tbred owner. :D
so you did this mod?
Only the 166MHz one :D
congrats again m8!
ur ram is absolutely outstanding!
SAE...SAE...SAE...pushing the limits ever higher and higher...:toast:
Hehe, thanks to both of ya :)
But as you know nothing's stable today ;)
No clue what bios to test now...

Hehe... when it's cold outside, LV 's sitting there with his freezing rig ;) :D The shivering hands did the L12 mod.Quote:

Bus#0 Dev#0 Func#1 second colomn - offsets 94 to 97 :D
No chance to get it done... NF2 mem controller is not stable anymore at these kindsa clocks.Quote:

I just completed a 3dmark at 11.5x266.95MHz. I just booted as usual at 254x11.5 and upped the clocks :)
And now it worked. Did not clock the card though - only 480-380 (my gaming settings, artifact free).
24088 :D
My latest pifast results are like 45.80seconds. Screenies later :)
Any chance of beating your current score if the card was clocked to your maximum levels?Quote:

I ran a pifaast already, but under win xp... first post ;)
But under 2k I am around 45.8s
@mrlobber
There's the chance, but I am not fully convinced. Dunno if the card/board are stable enough for that torture.
are u sure this is the address o9f that alpha table?Quote:

Try to set WPCR to 32 bit mode and it will appear to ya more clearly :D You'd have them all in one column.Quote:

Tightest on DFI boards are 0-0-3-3-0-0-3 IMO, and that's using 1-31 ROMSIP...
