if yes, then it would be just "a little" high in contrast to a "normal" XP-M2600+
i know people who are running XP-Ms with 1,750V with your clock....
Air of course :), at 2v it just gets up to 72c and shuts off

SUPERDUDE, you should be able to do 12x217fsb at only 1.75vcore because that is what im currently doing right now and i have the same chip as your so iam not sure why yours is crapping out like that.
I think its your PSU holding you back because at 2.6ghz and 1.75v sucks about 125w of power and i see you only got a 430w psu so im guessing the rail at which the cpu is using is not enough to support that speed. My PSU is Enermax 550w that has 40amps on every rail so i think psu playes a huge role in max overclockage.
Can you post a pic of your winbond hardware doctor to see how your rails are???
I have the new DFI installed and it's garbage!
Max OC stable is 2300 MHz for now. And all chips like MOSFETS are cooled with heatsinks so that's not the problem.
There is no difference between the Thermalright and Asetek Waterchill, infact it must be better because of the northbrige cooler and the low temps of 35 C stressed.

i cant get this thing to post on 12.5x217 :/ on any voltage from 1.7-1.95. 2 posts, but shuts down cus of heat issues
Get the thermalright slk900A with thermaltake 80mm fan with 78cfm...That should take care of the heat...Quote:
