There are 2 bioses in that zip, a "high" and a "low" vdimm bios. The "high" one was done at 3.3vdimm (3.55 real) and the "low" one was done at 2.6vdimm (2.8v real) so they can also be comparred against each other.

Sachs - they are LPB bioses (and both are the same, I just did 2 backups at seperate voltages to see if it would pin down the cause), as I flashed my board to an LPB.. not that it turned me into a low ping bastard, but... :D
Its definately a neat find, but I wonder how many boards this has been the "death" of and they werent even dead maybe?

Tried it the way Shroom said and no voltage raise :( I checked with a DMM

This thread is getting major attention from all the web.
I am hoping we can figure out other methods for the NF7 series, and maybe other voltage mods for the DFI from the bios "trick"....Vdd and Vcore..??

3.53v for that, guess my BH-6 kinda clocks like crud :D

Does it show the "higher" voltage in the bios?
So I guess its a no go on the NF7 ??
sribble - You have to measure with a DMM to see the higher value.

UPDATE:
Swapped ram to slots 2+3 and now am doing 9x252 2-2-2-2-11-9-12-eefe in prime with no problems.
253.5+ errors within 30 seconds.
The guys with success how did you Exacly do it, like i said i tred a few times:
2.9 > power-down > remove battery > boot and change to 2.6 > pop back the battery> boot ...............
and nothing, checked with DMM and i just get 2.68 ish just the boards normal overvolting
Try 2.9 -> power down -> remove battery -> boot + change to 2.9 -> save+exit+power down -> +battery -> boot.
Other than that, maybe this could be bios related?
I'm not convinced that it works....
I set VDIMM to 3.3v, powered down, removed battery, powered back on, set VDIMM to 3v, powered down, battery back in, powered on, set VDIMM to 3.3v.
Now although I didn't know what my board was reading previously when set to 3.3v, it now reads 3.34~3.35v from the 1st MOSFET.
And my PC is no more stable at FSBs of 225~227MHz, still crashes Prime 95 after about 1 hour.
I'll perhaps give it another go later.
It works, its just a pain to make it work..
Tell me how to get it working then :)

I just tried this mod 3-4 times, it dosent seem to work for me...
And i am measuring with a digital multimeter too...
I learn my board undervolts by .1 which explains why ive been getting semi-good FSB's (i run 245 stable in windows)
This is exactly what i did:
Boot, went to bios, set Vdimm to 3.3
SAVED BIOS AND SHUT DOWN
while comp was off, popped off CMOS battery.
With cmos battery out, booted, went into bios, changed vdimm to 3.0v,
SAVED BIOS AND SHUT DOWN
while comp was off, popped CMOS battery back in.
Boot, went to bios, set Vdimm to 3.3 again
SAVED BIos AND SHUT DOWN
Boot streight to windows....
measured from mosfet, and still getting hte .1 undervolt i always get.......
Anything i am doing wrong?
edit: Are you supposed to mess with the BIoS jumper at all? Leave it on on or on off? Or take it off completely?
Is there any "timed" trick to this? Do you need to wait a long time before popping in and out of battery or inbetween booting? ......etc............etc.
I ask the people that had sucess what bios they were using and if they are using the L12 mod or any other wiremod
Dont need to touch the bios jumper.
It could have to do with timing

Helll~Fire - My VDD seems to have calmed down. It used to overvolt when I first got the board but now it is running what it should.
I'll check my vcore right now.
1.88v when set to 1.825v in bios measured from the choke... same overvolt as its always been.
argg, I tried this over, and over, and over, and over ... nothing.
Then I rebooted and nothing happened :D Screwed my BIOS chip ...
Luckily my dad has an NF7-S, just had to wade through all his HDs and messy cables and hotswap my BIOS chip in to flash it ;) Actually cracked the casing that holds the chip in the board on his NF7 lol, he won't notice ...
We need to start over, everyone who has succesfully found a way to do this, post your board, and bios version, and exact steps you took...
I also tried it and it did nothing. So, a question I have is this - when you say 'shut down' do you mean just power off, or PSU off alltogether? Anyone who got it working please respond.
f10+enter is what I did, then flipped the psu switch before post.
Bad news in a couple minutes, though.. gotta get pics off my camera and stuff.
