Interesting.. you cannot find CAS 2 5-2-2 memory to test with this? Can you show detailed report of the 3DMark score?
Because uses infineon memory Chip pellet therefore to be unable to make CAS 2 5-2-2Quote:

Thermaltake Silent Tower CL-P0025
Mighty pimp looking, big copper coolers are fine as long as they don't make a racket. A big plus is also if they cool decently =)
tRCD and tRP at 3 cost a lot of marks, cas doesn't matter at all though. Your ram can't do tRCD/tRP "2", i take it?
no, but it might be the missing miliseconds to get a lower score...Quote:

Interesting score, this is will show in the long run that 939 is alot faster than 940, and prescott.
A fx53 (940) stock 1m is 34secs on a fresh formatted drive with memory set to auto in the bios.Quote:

yuri, you were running the 1m @ 2.5-3-3-8 , he was running the 1m @ 3-3-3-8, so his sys is probably a sec faster.
But at what timings? 2-2-2-5?Quote:

Probably 5-2-2-2 then..
my guess is 2/3/2/6/11/16 because unless you vmodd the board tRCD is very hard to run @ 2Quote:

isnt that 3dmark score kinda low, considering its got a s939 and a 9800pro?
i built a rig for my friend with an opteron (1.8ghz) and a 9800pro and it got 20k stock
Boyne7
That's kinda high..
Initial screenshot for super pi (first post) shows a cpu-z package result of socket 939 yet the cpu-z package result for screenshot of super pi 1M (next posting) shows socket 940? What gives? Older version of cpu-z used straight after initial super pi result?
Maybe with a 9800xt, a opteron 144 / 9800pro doesn't score 20k stockQuote:

1 pic has socket 939 and the other 940?! surely cpu-z wouldnt miss count the socket?!??!?!?!
Didn't they have a discount on Photoshop last week?
Just gotta wait till it's official to be certain. You can wait, right?
Personally, I doubt we will see any performance revelations from Socket939. Maybe 1-3%... still same core and same Mhz. The reason I'm waiting for it is: 1. Unlocked AGP/PCI and multiplier. 2. Doesn't need registered memory... can finally use pimping BH5 sticks 3. Hopefully really good overclocking because of 1&2. ;)
PS: Does anybody have BH5 that can do 273 @ 2-2-2-5??
with enough volts.......BH-5 can go 270...like 3.6-3.8V.
