Well the motherboard I got from my RMA was an OLDER revision and it doesn't seem to maintain the voltage properly. But that said I was able to run Prime95 for a bit before the temps started to creep up too high for my liking (64C).

LBJGH, i was keen on seeing N8's results :)
Next week I'll have my xp 1600+ AGOIA Y 0213 and couple it with some liquid cooling... looking for 2gigs smoothly, crossing fingers... :D
Ok, its been a while but the chip is out now and I think I got it unlocked last night...won't know till I put it in tonight and find out.
Put my AROIA back in and FINALLY set up my H2O(which I bought like 3 months ago and never had the time to install) and I've got it folding & stable @ 1950MHz, 2.2vcore, 42c load...50MHz higher than I could ever stabilize it on air.
So, I'll be pullin the AROIA tonight again and putting this AGOIA back in to see what speed it stabilizes at...something over 2GHz I'm hoping...just not sure how far over :)
Here is a pic i got of it before I unlocked it so u can see the full stepping:
Burning in right now @ 2000MHz...prolly let this go overnight...temps a little higher than expected...not sure if its that this chip runs hotter, if some air got in the lines, or if the AS3 has yet to burn in, or a combination of all 3, but I think this is more voltage than it will take to run this speed anyway so I will just let it burn in @ this overnight :) Oh yea, the unlock worked :D
Here's a quick screenshot b4 bed:
Good gawd. Aircooled... that's sick. :)
Watercooled now sys :)
P.S. Burn-in went fine overnight...not sure now if I'm gonna go for more MHz or less voltage...still deciding ;)
lord, What are the specs on your machine?
Just take my sig and substitute the AROIA chip for an AGOIA now :)
Very nice overclock, [N8] :) !
BTW with what PSU ???
Yeah, what PSU?? 4.97v on the 5v line at such high speeds is amazing!
Congrats for that 2Ghz chip ;)
Thanks :)
Antec 400W PP-412X w/ pots tweaked by urs truely :D
Congrats dood gr8 job :toast:
I wish my 1600+ would hit 2Ghz...it craps out at about 1.9Ghz no matter what I give it. :flame:
What HSF are you using on that dood?
Who?Quote:

I'm using a Volcano 7+...works great for me. Idle temps are 35deg and load is around 39deg@1.9Ghz
I think you should check your sig
AGOIA ;)
sforza - thanks...wrote it in a hurry:D
Got an AGOIA Z in today and also AGOIA 41F. Gonna see what these puppies will do on air later today after finishing up a system. :)
Gooch:)
Hot damn my man...a "Z"......this may be interesting:D, but I am anxious to see if that "41F" lives up to my babies abilities.
Keep us posted on your progress my friend:)
Randi:D

Oh yeah the 41F is a nice one even on air at 1.95V :) I wish I had more time this weekend.
Nice chip Gooch!
Well, I ended up @ 1.95v to stabilize @ 2000MHz & 39c temps right now folding. It passed prime at this speed for the 2 hrs that I ran it so I'm guessin its stable...time will tell...gaming usually fully tests my chips for me :)
Some time this week I will hafta check for max stable OC @ 2.2v & see what kinda temps I get to see if I wanna run that high. I just love my 2400++(second plus for 200MHz FSB :hehe: ) speeds @ $55 :D
Gooch,
I need to pop by and test a couple of those, better yet bring them by :D
