Samsung doesn't pass 1960mhz w/ stability no matter what timming and voltage used but it does 1960mhz 9-9-9-27 1T w/ only 1,47v
I will try higher trc on them also later, but trc and voltage are definately the key combination for Crucials.
currently testing 2145Mhz 9-9-9-24-47 2T w/ 1,64v
Edit: put the samsung back just to be sure I wasn't doing something stupid with them, but no 1960MHz 9-9-9-27 seems to be it stability wall, 1T doen't make any diference neighter voltage. It can reach it maximum performance at 1,50-1,55V
Crucial looks like a tipical micron/winbond memory, low timmings, high trc, lots of voltage (now we are talking about 1,70v and not 3,4 - 2,6 or 2.2V anymore, but scalability in 4GB sticks w/ more than 1,60v seems rare nowadays.)
Definately a keeper .
30min at 2145Mhz 9-9-9 1,62V I could never reach that before.
good to know they are double sided, crucial should update its site...
p.s. don't think they will put Hypers to dust, bulldozer is more than capable to run hypers at high clock.
Hmmm maybe I'll try again with 2T...
well, not here and I haven't heard of anyone who could put them stable over 2050Mhz 7-7-7 on FX setup
But I'm talking about 8GB (4x Sticks) w/ 2x sticks they outperform any other I've tested but maybe only for benchmarks. I wanted to go 8GB and hypers aren't stable at bench settings as this may be:

Wtf is that? I've never see any memory with thermal sensors.
Barr3l are this ones your modules? [ http://www.crucial.com/store/partspe...4G3D1869DE1TX0 ]. It says on product details there that they have thermal sensor. Kinda cool. Ordered one of those, will have to wait a while. In the meantime will be trying some dominators gt 2133 1.5v they look promising..
For anyone with the LED's or thermal sensors, you can use the Ballistix MOD utility to change LED color, frequency, disable, and also monitor temps on many of the new kits too.
Here it is for anyone that needs it

My 2500K IMC doesnt like 8GB. With 4x2GB PSCs best it could do is 1866 8-9-8, and my 2x4GB 1600 Smart Tracers did the exact same. So all I can say right now is that mine can run 1866 8-9-8 with sub 1.6V (1600 8-8-8 1.5V stock kit). Going to try them with my new i3-2100, but doubt the IMC on that would be any better.
I must confess, I was really pissed w/ this memory cause UPS charged US$170 only for customs fees/duty, that for 2x sets of those. After I've paid twice price for it, I sticked them and they seemed worse than my samsungs... I was almost thashing them, but after some TRC adjust and 2T command rate it seems to fly

That's nice result. Have you tried loosening trcd and how big is the effect in MHz?
Would be interesting to see what these can do at 9-10-92-7/9-11-9-27, which most 4GB sticks use for 2000+ clocks
Newegg sent me the wrong color, and no longer has the orange/blue ones I wanted. Was going to get a refund for them and get the taller heatspreader ones, but...
Crucial is an awsome company! Instead of RMAing with newegg, I called them to see if they would exchange them. They are cross shipping me a set of 1866 OBs for my 1600 RGs, and not charge anything, no shipping charges either way, and I get to keep my fan since I wont be RMAing with newegg.
No good crashes Prime95 9-9-9-27 2T even at 1.65v...I'm sticking to my Sammys and ebaying these for sure.
Seems like you got a bad kit, try an RMA.
barrel, looks nice! any AIDA shot?
Barr3l Rid3r
what exactly memory model? what ICs?
Barr3l's are elite modules, and IC nobody knows for sure, all they know is that they are Micron's because of how they behave. Cheers.
The duel Samys vs Crucials
I'm loving them, Samsung tryed to catch up with them after beeing passed, and actually made it with a really good mark at 2440Mhz 11-11-11 w/ only 1,55V and it was very stable at that clock, enough for spi 32mb and stuff.
But, then my NB is around 2600Mhz and it's not daily stable w/ that settings and fully loaded cores. CPU-NB divider don't work at 9X or lower with high clocks , so full stability was not an option.
I have to move it to around 2300mhz to make it stable at less than 1,52V but it can't do that w/ cas lower than 11-11-11 so Crucial at 2200Mhz 9-9-9 are probably better.
At 2200 sammys can't match Crucial timmings also..
Conclusion, Sammys for higher than 2300 stable and optimezed systems, Crucials for anything below 2250Mhz
CL10 didnt scale on the Crucial?
Why only 1.52v?
Cause ther is no more imc option here, 9x isn't stable at high clocks Samsung doesn't get anymore stable at 2440mhz icreasing the voltage, imc would always give prime blend errors over 2500mhz

Wow, they rock! Is it 2T, right?
yep couldn't get them to do any impressive result w/ 1T, anyway difference in performance comparig 1T vs 2T at 2000Mhz is very small in read performance and all the rest are about the same.
