What mice are used by Xtreme gamers?

Well I used the following with ratings..
B+ Logitech MX518 This was my favorite mouse of all time but I felt something was wrong with it the left click button it seems to have a lag delay.
B- Logitech G7 Battery dies quickly, also suffers from lag delay.
C Logitech G9x Did not feel comfortable in my hand, also suffers with lag..
C+ RAZER DeathAdder to narrow and to small to hold
A Microsoft SideWinder X8 mouse So far the best mouse I ever used and I go through mice 1-2 mice per year. This is a solid mouse just need time to get the feel of it. Currently using and it can be used as a WIRED MOUSE or WIRELESS for a couple of hours then it needs a the magnetic cable back on to charge while still playing.

Been through my share of mice, Mx 500/510 a couple of 518's G5/G7 and now on a Razer Mamba....the software is kinda crap but very happy with the mouse for the most part. Loved my 518's but since going wireless its really hard to go back IMO. Kinda like going from a 60hz monitor to a 120hz, no way could I ever go back.

Steelseries Ikari Laser, CM Storm Tatics mat...

My current mice is a G700. I'd recommend it to everyone who likes wireless mouses.

PROS:
- Wireless
- Lot of buttons
- One AA standard battery
- Can go wired when ever you want/need it
- Comfortable
- Looks great lol

CONS:
- None, so far.... but keep in mind that I have it for just a week

I use to have a mx-518 and loved it. I now have a deathadder 3.5g and love it just as much. The deathadder feels right in my big hands with a claw grip.

Great sensitivity ( but some mats make it too sensitive )
Independent X & Y axis tracking
Extremely customizable ( the best point of this mouse )
Sturdy metal body ( this mouse is heavy but very easy to move )
Multiple weight system
Good software
Precision Aim button help`s makes head shots easy!

You are going to have spend some time playing and tweaking and with the various options until you get the fit perfect. This mouse just kill`s my old G 7 & G 9 mice for comfort.

Pros good dpi = faster, Cons mouse acceleration kills you in real fps games(css,cs1.6,aa3 ect...) Any fps game that accuracy is a must due to the recoil of your weapons, gravity, air speed.

Wow....I feel the like the odd one out in this group. I game with an old Microsoft Trackball Explorer and piddle around doing other computery stuff with a Logitech Performance MX mouse.

Using a deathadder with goliathus control, love it tried it on a older mantis pad that a friend has is awesome .... I use claw grip and have big hands this mouse works great but my dream mouse is the lachesis ... I love that things looks and hense I rationalize that it will work better(ambidextrous design) with my style but thats probably not true its one of those senseless WTB's :P

Deathadder (1st one) here, and happy with it. RAT7 and Kone+ seem to be interesting choices too (and glad to read some opinions here).

I bought a Habu for my parents, but didn't like it. The wheel just make a strange and loud noise :/

Edit : Forgot about the mat. It's a Razer ExactMat and I'm happy with it too (but never really used both sides, I stay with the control one)

I use a G9 atm and I prefered my old MX518. Luckily, I found one brand new in box. :D

Razer Lachesis.
Would love a Boomslang with higher DPI though - I have big hands :)

How is the steelseries? I've been looking into their mice recently.

I use the MS/Razer Habu at the moment. Had it since release.

Logitech Wingman ( used for test's but stil works)
Microsoft Inteli Mouse 3.0 (old version, don't use any more - still works)
Logitech G3 ( used for test's - still works)
SteelSeries Xai (tested)
Q-pad 5K (tested)
Razer Death Adder 3500 DPI (tested)

Actual i use: Razer Naga Epic (lot of time spending in MMO games)

P.S New SteelSeries Ikari Laser will be ok, in the new version they change sensor to Avago soo it will be big difference vs Old Ikari.

I didn't know about that. The old Ikari sensor was awful.

For FPS, I use my trackpoint mouse on my IBM Space Saver II. I grew up using a trackpoint, so it's second nature to me. I'm using a logitec M505 wireless mouse for RTS games. I can't stand wired mice.

As for the mousepad, I was using a generic pad, but I have to upgrade as I had 2 MRSA infections and I want a clean mousepad. This is what I ened up ordering:

I'm having such a hard time deciding what to upgrade to. My M505 is fine, but I want more buttons. I was thinking either Logitech Anywhere MX (Battery life looks as good as my 505), Performance MX (which seems to have fairly crappy battery life) or G700 (The battery life at this point scares me off) or maybe a Razer Mamba 2012 (price hurts though).

Way too many mice to choose from!

Just bought my G300 mouse today. (i call it a new weapon;)) Now I'm ready for you, 'BF3' baby...:D

My main mouse is the Microsoft X8 which is by far the best wireless gaming mouse I have ever used. With the ability to be wired nothing comes close to beating it.

My backup is a Logitech G9 and my racing cackpit has a Logitech MX518

Man, this new mouse is way too small for my hand. Maybe not so much the whole hand but specifically my fingers. They're cramped like sardines...lol (G9X is next on my list)

i have the same mouse X8 but sucks it eats bat fast and if i move it more than a meter it doesnt receive good the signal :/

I'd go with the regular G9.

The x has a higher DPI sensor, but it's got a small amount of built-in acceleration.

Problem will be finding one...
