Gskill Flares do 2200Mhz CL6-9-6-30 on 1.72Vdimm on our Sandy platforms... No idea why you would cash out for that set... 7-10-10 is a no no to me for tighter timings... I'd rather have a 8-10-8 set then rated 2300Mhz...

What flares?Which model?

AMD specced PC16000CL7-9-7 soars on SB Alex...

Some nice results with the newer GSkill. Using older 17600CL7-2GBPIS from my 860 (1.65V). Not as good but have to make do ;).

My G.Skill F3-17000CL8D-4GBXMD arrived, March 2011 with nice black PCB. :clap:

The only grip with these Gsill rjawsX (at least with my UD7 B2) is I/O latency in bios stock spd sometimes clocked at 2 or even blanked (-) by itself. Probly my #4 dimm slot..dunno:confused:

for that it was 1.66ish and I did not test 32m as this 2500k is a bad clocker
