Very nice screen you got there ^^^ :-), I got the D6000 and couldn't be more happier :-). I couldn't personally justify almost double an increase in price for a few extra 'smart' features, a few more inputs / outputs and local dimming.
My Current Setup:
- ASUS Xonar Essence STX, with Uni Xonar drivers, using XMPlay with ASIO output @ bit depth and sample frequency of source material on Windows 7 Professional, upsampling when EQ'ing is used (using 2x LT1364CN8 for the I/V stage and 1x Burr-Brown OPA1612 for the buffer stage)
- Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro (250 Ohm) Headphones
- QED Performance Interconnects (3.0m Stereo Parallel Male to Male RCA Interconnects from sound card and phono preamp to amplifier)
- QED Original Speaker Wire (2.0m lengths going to speakers and high level inputs of subwoofer from respective 'A' and 'B' speaker outputs of amplifier)
- Cambridge Audio Azur 740A Integrated Stereo Amplifier (150W RMS/ch @ 4 Ohms, 100W RMS/ch @ 8 Ohms, all channels driven)
- Technics SL-1700 Turntable
- Shure M97xE Turntable Cartridge and Shure N97xE Turntable Stylus
- Pro-Ject Phono Box MkII Phono Preamplifier
- PSB SubSonic 5i Subwoofer (150W RMS Continuous, 225W Dynamic, 450W Dynamic Peak, 10" Driver)
- DALI Ikon 6 MK2 main speakers (http://dali-speakers.com/display_con....html/322/2559)
- Speaker isolation via speaker feet
- Amplifier and subwoofer connected to a Clipsal "Orange Box" portable RCD power outlet
great setup guys :)
We recently bought another house and will be moving in at the end of next month. I'm converting the detached garage into a man cave and the garage has a roofed patio area off it that I am gonna use to place a pool table in. The garage will be used as a home theater/gaming/pc room. I plan to start a build log once I actually move in.
A projector is in my future but not for a year or two. For now I will be using the equipment I currently own:

wow amazing setup rooms Oneil :)
Thanks tom. It's all in one room too. :) and will be in the next house too but I plan to make the new room a dedicated theater/game room. At our current house it's large den and my daughters romper room lol.
much better than just a room just for gaming :D
In progress.. triple rackmount HTPC setup. Just have to order some SSD's and fans. 3D Blu-ray + MadVR Rendering capable rigs. They will all pull content from my 12TB+ WHS and networked CableCARD tuners. The HDTV's in various rooms will just have an HDMI cable ran with a USB IR receiver where a Harmony remote will control each one. Total cost so far is ~$750.. picked up some good sales. ^_^

Wire management still needs *slight* cleanup.. but it's about one of the cleanest installs I've done. ^_^

wiretap, any more updates? it looks so awesome!
I ordered some blue LED fans.. they should be here soon. Then I just have to sleeve and build the other two HTPC's. SSD's will come when I find a good sale on some 60GB/120GB drives. I will take pictures as I put everything together. Right now I'm pretty busy with work and finding a house that will fit my current home theater the way I want it. The idea is to find a big enough basement so I can put in a theater, wet bar, and a cigar room with air filtration.
Finally some actual pictures (there be it bad phone-quality ones) of my main living area + some of my gear -

Fans installed. Three 60GB Corsair Force 3 6GB/s SSD's on order. Did a test boot of the system and it runs surprisingly quiet and hovers around 35C - 40C.
