Wish I was getting as good results as you were shroom, would you like to play with my board for a bit? it's vdimm modded and can do 3.3V+ easily. NF7 v2.
PM me (Stang_Man), thanks :)
I would love to test out anyones board. I think its fun.
MMM mgiht try all the bios's out then pick which one suits me.
BTW: What cpu inteferance.
flashed to d10beta4... unfortunately, no difference at all comparing to d21 i'm currently on... i lost 30mb/s, though - tested few times, some 3320ish compared to 3350ish...
nice work anyways, greatly appreciated... menu layout quite nice, Abit Tuner sounds pretty cool...

if i can fix it.... horey!!!... revival on NF7S Rev 2.0:toast:
My results:
on all previous bios's, max FSB was 225-227. d10 based bios's dont work to well on my board. The modded bios based on d22 gave me a boost to 230:D previously I had to run 220 to max out my cpu, now I can run 230:)
thumbs up to tictac!!! :D
Buff
that is why I love this forum, dont worry about that forum they have quantity membership but not quality. Keep up the good workQuote:

Here are some of my findings so far with these beta BIOSes:
My board does not run well with the original D10 BIOS. Even 220 x 10 is not stable. However, after testing the 10beta 1, 10beta 2, and 10beta 4, I found the beta4 to be the most stable - still not 100% stable on my board, but almost there. 230 x 10 willl pass prime for a while, but Warcraft3 TFT crashes. Anyways the beta4 changes did increase stability on my system.
I see there is now D10beta4x2 - will be testing that soon. I would really like to be able to use the D10 BIOS and use the 10 multi.
Keep up the good work tictac :toast:
^That girls got lush t!ts.
Anyway thanks guys,sorted.
Any one know of the best bios for a version 2 (nf7-s) with a XP2400+ t'bred.?
Hi Shroomalistic,
What are the advantages of the d21 beta turbo bios plz ?
I downloaded and tried out the bios that Shroomalistic had listed as his favorite... The one with the shnazzy new interface in the bios... anyway, my secondary air cooled system was formerly not capable of going over 210fsb with my KHX3500 with stock northbridge cooling and cpu interface enabled...
after flash its prime stable @ 220fsb 6-2-2-2 with stock NB voltage still... Gonna see if I can pull some more out before I have to upgrade the northbridge cooling...
Okay so whats cpu interference?
Does it affect clocks?
Tried the 10beta4x2, but still not 100% stable. Oh well, I guess no 10 multi for me. The 10beta4 was a hell of a lot more stable than any other BIOS 10 variety though. Tictac you are on the right track.
Keep us informed :D
CPU interface boosts your ram performance, turning it off will give you higher fsb clock but with a hell of alot less peformance.
