hm, maybe, but i have too x4 965 C3 and C2 955 at the same board and 955 C2 can boot at 2800 MHz and C3 965 at 2950 MHz...There is strange, this x4 970 can not higher than about 2650 MHz only...
DDR2 is definately not hindering the IMC...
My 790X-UD4P will let me hit 3100+ on my 965BE, while my DDR3 boards give up around 3080.
maybe it is bad sample.. still like cpu mhz :P
yes,cpu clock looks good, think, with better temps i can 4100 MHz stable. And this is for Deneb good point.
Little update.
At this weekend i benched a bit my last quad- Phenom x4 970 BE. As always to time i used CM Hyper 212 and have ambients between 20-24 C :)
First i wanted to broken 4500 MHz and hope so for better than my x4 965 BE. Its done :), 4580 MHz with 1.55V :)

To be honest i'm not overly impressed by this cpu, like i said in the Cinebench thread. I was expecting more from AMD's top of the line X4 cpu. What's the max stable cpu-nb on this cpu?
Zeus, i think, this chip is not bad, CPU clock is very good for aircooling (about 4090 MHz stable in 32-bit). The bigest problem is NB, what i all do, nothinh more than about 2600 Mhz stable :-/. This chip is the best from all my Denebs at CPU clock, but the whorst with NB clock :)

Considering you're on a 32 bit OS i'm expecting even better clocks but hey, you can't have it all. Fortunately you have a (very) nice 1090 to make up for it. ;)

only my C2 955 was very good, 3911 MHz stable, 2700 MHz NB, for benching around 3000 MHz NB (means superpi benching). Hell, maybe can i try update BIOS, never seen before newest CPU with very bad NB (hope 2800 MHz, it will must boot :- ( )
my new validation with x4 970 BE and normal ambients, ufff 4600 MHz broked with Deneb :)

Flank3r, what CPU-NB Voltage do u feed this little monster for NB=2600 MHZ ?
I tried everythink from 1.25 up to 1.45V....doesnt helped me for 2800 MHz stable :-/
