it's old but maybe someone still need them :)
D'oh I forgot to mod my new MIIIE so far :p: Need to do that before friday, gonna get some LN2 then :D
it seems people stuck around 5.3-5.4Ghz qpi or they are hiding their max :D i know 5.5+ is not that hard :P
i also bought myself a MIII Formula today, hopefully will be fun to bench 1156, first time for me :-)
Good luck guys.
Hiwa did your board arrive?
hey guys.. donot forget to send scores even you dont have top qpi ; because in the end of 8weeks you will need every single point :) (if you are running for ASUS 1156 Champion title and prize)
scaling with cold is important, we have qpi coldbug thing here; not for every cpu coldest is better:up:
4951mhz
But not with correct CPU-Z, will try with SS tomorrow if I get time ;)
Have a BIOS profile never the less... Anyhow... Having a problem.... Mouse and keyboard (USB) has signal maybe 60% of the time when being at high QPI... Requires some patience!
EDIT; On water btw...

LOVE one thing though;
Time pressure!
I will arrive home from GOOC trip by week#2 (low clock) at 8:25PM, if everything goes as planned, then I will be at home EARLIEST 10PM, more likely 10:30PM, gives me a short time for making no#2 result, not bad!
Fortunately it wont take any setup time, seems I have to start using ROG connecter though, just did this from BIOS :p:
my board shipped today i hope to get it at home friday
M3F any advice for bios version guys? someone tested 1801 ?
i guess newer ones should be better,i hope this helps, here this was a long time ago with 1501  this was brandy's cpu but it is dead already :D

I've tested most of the BIOSes available for M3F hiwa, and 1801 worked great! Maybe a bit better than the latest ;)
256MHz bclk validation, 250MHz bclk SPi 32M on 1801 :yepp:

Nice.... It is so :banana::banana::banana:ing slow at updating....
I cannot submit when being abroad....Hope it would just freaking register my score..
Oh CPU-z verification doesnt work btw...
once you upload the file, i mean once you see your submit is successful writing then dont worry it will be online even 1hour passed :) and the time you upload is curucial here, lets say you upload and see your score 1second before the timer show 0 then you have valid submission. Dont care about when it will be online on the ranking page :)
and wait a little before you upload your next score, cause i reliaze that systam thinks you making file spaming if you do that
But I cannot see my own submissions anywhere.... It has been 5 hours+ now... I am leaving home in 30 min or so....
I have 4995mhz on water anyway...

told you dont worry, if you see that you succesfull submitted your score after you upload it, it will be online sooner or later  i will ask top10 guys why sometimes it takes so much time but i am sure that once you upload it successfully there wont be a problem :D
come on guys show urs ;)

hiwa i see .cvf files there.. Donot forget it will be .dat ! by pressinf F10
btw, it seems you cpu has good potential, keep pushing
Ok can someone clear up what is actually in a .dat file, im curious when press f10 does it overwrite the last save or are they all compiled together so it will show all the results in 1 .dat file ??
Hey,
It appears this particular part of the contest could get complicated.
Have some info in a few need to grab some "pics" off usb drives.
Mild.

Moderate
http://chew.ln2cooling.com/floating%20bclk/cpu-3244.bmp
preety hard to believe

Unreal

I'm preety sure the .dat file is completely intact at one of the rather way out there results.
Feel free to pm me for more details.
Fester, it overwrites them, check time stamp of the file.
well , i had already have this bug with 1366 setup but you cannot validate this speeds, you can only get screenshots of them, so there is problem for valid scores
You all guys safely can send your scores
And top10 guys thanks chew* for his warning, it would be some problem here but thanks god no
