Download link Maximus 2 Formula 2302 mBIOS ??
Hi Ket, i have older laptop from year 2008 called Asus X51L, bios version is 206 that cannot be found on interet, only 204 and 205
http://support.asus.com.cn/Download....X51L&p=3&os=17
I just "upgrade" cpu is T2410, existing microcode is fine, but if you may find newer then i got in my bios you can replace with newest one :)
I have v206 you can download mine bios that i dl from MY laptop, via my ftp.
http://freeweb.siol.net/nikolas3/Nikolz/X51L.zip
Im using OC tool called setfsb 2.2.134.98 wich works ok on win7
I got selected clock generator: ICS9LPR363DGLF
And i set my fsb from 133mhz up to 166mhz, while my ddram timings are too tight for 333.6
Default fsb freq is 133mhz * 15=2000mhz <-cpuspeed and DDram 333.6mhz
Fsb:dram ratio is 1:2
What i want in my bios is to select fsb frequency for my cpu, and ddr timings.
Thanks
You can use SPDTool to accomplish most of what you want to. I might occasionally release a modded BIOS for some "golden oldies" such as the P5Q Pro / Deluxe or Maximus 2 Formula but by and large I don't mod BIOSes anymore because they have been replaced by the UEFI, which there really isn't very many good ways to mod yet.
I might make another M2F mBIOS as I keep getting requests for them.
Can anybody upload the last mBIOS (2302) please?
all links not working ,
ps. fund working link :D
hey yobi where did you find it?plz
or maybe ket would be so nice and upload again?
thanks in advance.
Another in search of Ket's bios for the Rampage Extreme!
Just checking up again...Ket (or anyone else) willing to share the modded bios for the Rampage Extreme (x48)? I can't find a working link anywhere :(
Hello "Ket", I have following you since 2012, when I found your modified bios for the ASUS P5Q series motherboards. For a long time I've used your wonderful changes that made my life much easier, rst intel, memory oc profiles, much better OCing.
But I had to replace my asus p5q pro, due to a power surge.
After much searching, I found an ASUS MAXIMUS FORMULA 2, but the official bios of this board are not as good as what you have done for P5Q series.
My question is, could you update the latest bios released for this board with your wonderful improvements? or reupload your latest update to "mega", because the link takes down Megaupload years.
It is a very old plate from which there is no longer any support. But I'm desperate, because official bios maximus Formula 2 is much lower than the versions that you have provided us.
Thank you very much for everything, especially all the support you've given us over the years.
