So is this the Super talent 2000 Cl7 that everyone is talking aobut.
Super Talent Project X Series DDR3-2000 2GB CL7 Memory - WX200UB2G7
Sorta. Thats the single stick.
Here is the Triple Channel kit:
https://www.ewiz.com/detail.php?name...nel-Memory-Kit
There is no dual channel kit.
I'm still trying to get rid of my 2200 C8's.
al least they are cheaper then the CMGTX2
I had something nice waiting on me at home today :D

For some reason, these don't have the "Speed" label like eva2000's

The PCB has similar markings as eva's, STT-702.

Once again, these use 8-layer Brainpower PCBs.

And finally, as the Coolaler review of the pre-release product showed, these use J1108BASE MGH-E Hyper sticks.
I'm waiting for your results...so I can pull the trigger on my set.
projectx - speed - supertalent 3rd revision?
I did some very preliminary memtest86+ 4.00 tests. Of my three sticks, only one managed 1 full pass@DDR3-1800 6-6-6-20 with BIOS voltage set to 1.70v (=1.735v real) but did not pass looping of test #5.
That certainly makes me want to keep my sticks actually...
That kit is way more expensive than the 2200 C8's and I don't know if I want to go there.
I want 1800 6-6-6-18 or 6-6-6-20 for benching.
Exactly how high do they go with 1.65v and 6-6-6? That would help me alot.
got my kit today and it looks like the same black PCB and markings as the 2000 cl7's
i was going to take a heatspreader off but couldnt figure out how these one are done?
Shiranui Gen-An,how did you get them off?just pull the one side off?i know about
heating them and gently prying them but do they just slip apart at that groove where
they are together at?
yea thats what im asking.like i said i know to heat them and pry but i just never seen ones like this with that tongue and groove connection.thanks guys
with memory being binned very aggressively by Corsair on GTX2, doubt you'd get anywhere close on cheaper elpida by other brands
let us know how you do :)
congrats and welcome to the world of fast tight ass high clock ram :D Potentially you can push bclk higher on elpida hypers too :)
sweet MGH-E Hypers
pretty similar to my 2200C8 2x2GB kits if you look at my memtest results for kit #1, #2 and #3 http://i4memory.com/f83/super-talent...tml#post131086 only 1 2x2 kit #2 hit 1800mhz 6-6-6-20 at 1.7, other 2 kits of 2x2GB hit 1788mhz 6-6-6-20 at 1.7v
Now I mixed in 3x2GB 2200C8 max memtest86 is at 889mhz easy and 894mhz 6-6-6-20 at 1.7v with some tweaking of RTL A/B/C channels but I managed to do it at lower CPU VTT of 1.3875v.
not really sticks binned for one speed only guaranteed for that binned speed, anything else is really up to individual modules and system and cpu IMC it's paired with.
pretty close 3x2GB 2200c8 for me memtest is 889-894mhz 6-6-6-20 at 1.7v
not worth the risk, just finding out max cas6, 7, and 8 clocks should be enough :D
Thanks eva i reached 2000 CL9 1T PL8 on the EP45T USB3P and 1600 CL8 PL7 but Gskills need that weirdo 6-9... / 7-10.. so i wanna see some flat timmings like 6-6-6-18
i know its an old socket but maybe you may want to see what im testing here:
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...05132&page=259
i will report as soon as i get them
Cheers from South America
Sergio
DDR3-1740 6-6-6-20 1T 1.74v 1.475VTT 21x145BCLK
Once again, it seems like I need a lot more VDIMM that others for the same clocks. Up to this point I've only used Gigabyte X58A series boards (UD3R and UD7), I'm not sure if a different brand like Asus would make a difference or not.
