I´ve read thoose articles about the pci lock on NF3...but somehow I can´t belive that there is no lock..not on my board atleast.
Might be that I´m a veeeeery lucky owner of a board that have working pci lock....might also be that I have extreme luck with al of my tested hardware....I really don´t know....but everything I´ve tried is working perfect sp far at thoose speeds.
I´ve have a hard time beliveing that I am that lucky.
just hooked the prommy up to my new stuff. currently at 270x10 with the divider at 166. at what fsb should i expect the drives to start giving out?
I started having troubles over 280Mhz....300 Mhz+ was a no go for me without a PCI Ide card.

is the bios completely wrong with bios temps? my bios says im -10c at idle. mbm reports +1c and +5c at load. i sure hope im mounted correctly.

Jeezzez..that´s way off maan.
At default my bios reads -13... mbm reads -20 ....and display -43
heh i forgot the vcore is modded. so my default is 1.7v. seems its reading more correct all of a sudden. at 1.8v im getting -15c and -3c at load. evap head is at-50c. pretty close to your temps. imo the board is still way off though.
is it just me or is there no way to adjust ram timmings on the board?
you need to flash to the newest bios. it let's you adjust the timmings manually.
Anyone know where I can get a clockgen for my shuttle ? I cant seem to find it...

Regarding clockgen....basiclly everytime I trie to change multiples on my cpu the systems hangs ...and I have to "reset" it...the change is made ....but pretty anoying thou.
Anyone else having similar problem...with clockgen and shuttle ..??

Clockgen works fine for me with an50r. Have 240 set in bios and then i go in 3-5 MHz steps up to 270

What LDT are you guys running (volt and multi)? I cant seem to get passed 2550Mhz, I am getting a blue screen all the time...
I have tried my shuttle all the way up to 290 FSB, top of that I dunno, I will try other combinations.

Anything over 2500 no matter what voltage or setting I have to use 2x LDT
I am at 2650MHz, not very stable though. I am giving 1.84v to the CPU and I dont know if I should give it any more :)

Well it does for me.
However as I said...it freezes my system and I have to press the "reset" button...when I then get in to windows...the multi is changed.
Mine did work, before it ended up in ths CPUsemetary

Did some playing with the FSB...to se what max was.
I used 3:2...or atleast I think it is...PC2100(133mhz.)
3DMark scores are crappy...but this isn´t in purpose to get high scores....only to show level of stabilty.
Also SuperPI is way low...I guess because of the low memory bandwidth.

And once again this is with my onboard SATA and my WD Raptor. I can boot in to windows at 280fsb...thats max in bios. And then clockgen all the way up.
At 325 it´s perfectly stable.. I can run it there all day long no problems what so ever with any hardware.

Nice FSB.... What is the overclock on ur VGA card???
So u boot to windows @ 280x10???? and then lowered ur mult to 7x and increased the FSB to 325????
