These chips are truely Bang for the Buck...
It would be nice to see a 890chipset for it...i think ill be waiting a while to get one that Unlocks a 555 or anything else. In 2xcore on 890 ill think it will do a little better.
Anyway Thats when ill make the Swap to DDR3...

Did not do any benches with it though @3000nb...My Mobo did nott like the Nb multi's i was picking with 1150- 1200mhz on the ram.
DDR2 seems to do best @ 2800 or below with tight timing .
Especially when @ 1150 -1200mhz and Above 4100mhz X4cores..
X2cores will doe the Same on my setup..Its amuzing actually.

Seriously, anyone could take an Athlon X4 630 and overclock it to 3.8-4 Ghz and have a kick*** machine...for dirt cheap. On the intel side, well you can buy a LGA775 Pentium Dual Core or something...
Here it goes, my 4th 555 BE chip in a row. :P Only one more after this to go. Three 555BE's before this have all unlocked just like that.

550/555 puts a smile on my face every time i game.
Ok so my 1004BPMW unlocks. Good. Currently prime testing it at 4GHz / 2.8GHz NB w/ 1.49vcore. Awesome. Feels good to get past the 4GHz wall on air. Under load my temp hovers around 51 degrees C. Also got some Arctic Cooling MX-3 paste from Petra's to replace my Ceramique.

Yeah when I initially built my PC I just grabbed the big Ceramique tube from Frys in Fremont, lol. So far I like the 555 + MX-3's temps, especially now that it's much warmer here in Cali.
gOtVoltage, you prefer the MX3 over the MX2? I'v heard it's a lot harder to spread, is it?

I just put a little dot of MX-3 (bigger than a grain of rice) on my 555 before I placed my Scythe Mugen 2 on. I didn't spread it evenly or anything else. Do you think it's ok?
yes richie it should be fine, here is a video i found awhile ago about spreading tim.. i use mx2 & for my xigmatek or any direct touch cooler, i put a line of tim across middle of cpu, in opposite direction as the heatpipes that will contact it. for flat based coolers i just use a dot in center of cpu and usually always have good spread, unless one side of cooler got tightened down too much before other, then sometimes the tim mostly spreads to one side.
