and here they are, in place.
Looks like some bobsled , ehehehehehehheheheheheh
tomorrow I'll add the handles to the top, making the match .
and replace the bomb
@Synth:
If you really go on air, put a top 120-140mm fan at the side of the PSU, as exhaust. Would do a terrific job in there. My HDD are hell-hot!
no front, look how short the case is...
and the mess of my desktop.

merry christmas!
look at the case of Santa Claus!
joke!, brother, congratulations to the availability of resources limited say in our country you did a great job
-
I've also thought of using the front space for other stuff, not the cd drive and using an extenal usb dvd. In my case I would try to fit two or four harddrves in there. I really liked your project ! Brasil!

anybody have something to say ?
:P

Hmm. I would cut off sticking outside case back dimensions ends of legs, so that those would look simmetrical profile .. or leave them, if i'd put another rad externally on back of case. But otherwise, hats off. Always had deep respect for everybody making powerful sys in small case.
BTW, how about spraying black case insides/back wall?
-
black wall was the name of my last project, ehehehehehheheheeheheh
I'll leave this without black paint, for now.
About the feet, I'm still thinking of cuting it, but cant make my mind. Now it looks like some "santa's sled" I like that :D
And no outside rad, this case is 100% internal
-
i have to say Sir..
that is one SICK WC setup.
kudos!!!
-
new hardware in tha house.
the top of the case will get its exhaust, I fell its necessary as ALL fans are intake.
Both back and bottom intakes are slow RPM's.... and with one 2000RPM fan exhaust, the things will get balanced. And the HDD cool.

I love it, amazing build and great work.

tanx
the flat modular PSu will make the cables disappear. That's what I need now.
Soon, I'll add another 9800gt in SLI, as no game needs the fermi power yet.

Niiiiiiceeee
Is your rez gonna stay that way? How have you been filling it in that sideways position? I assume that is the cause of the air bubbles and gaps.
-
yep, some bubbles. Still testing....
To fill, just pull it out, its held in plastic clamps, easy to take off......
I'm thinking of what to do.....
-
Nice setup, turned out very nice.
For an aircooled setup, I would cut out the silver and put in mesh. Then a 120mm fan for intake for the HDDs. I would also turn the HDDs on edge with some custom bracket so air could blow past them. That would probably be enough intake for the case. Or, you could use a matx board and mount the HDDs on the floor and use that custom front intake to mount an H50 cooler.
Hmm, time to tear my brothers apart and see what is possible.
-
Awesome work as usual.
Makes me want to do something similar to my R-3, but no funds.
-
-
Actually, it looks nicer when you lay them sideways IMO :p:
-
I can't believe all that stuff is in that case. really good job! What res is that (sorry if I missed it somewhere)?
-
I've got this here in brazil, appears to be the EK-MultiOption 4 Port RES 100

Where do you keep legs when sitting at computer? :/ Argh, painful to watch (if sitting at PC for several hours is considered).
Not exactly most ergonomical setup. Keyboard should be just above legs, preferably arround 10cm, to not strain wrists keeping them too high/too far/etc ..
-
I like the left arm rest :D
But yes, that does look a bit uncomfortable. The wireless mouse/keyboard should solve that problem though.
-
Wireless? What difference will it make? One still going to have to sit with legs turned to side, or keep keyboard(whatever type it is) on lap. If for remote PC control from that comfy couch, some remote control would be more useful for controling media players..
I see that piece of furniture made for holding TV set && some audio equipment, not for holding PC one gonna use for several hours each day. Extended keyboard plane might help a bit, but i always disliked how easy they break (i mean those that you can push back in table after finished work), and how unstabe/unmonolithic they feel. Sitting/gaming for few hours straight at current shown placement (which looks stylish of course) can cause back problems imho, as one will have to lean forwards or sit with legs put to side all the times. If keep on using current furniture, I'd cut out plane where subwoofer stands, or even one under it aswell, to place legs there. With some strenghtening of structure, extra stands/legs, sanding/reaplying-repainting lacquoring (dunno if right word?) to not look it crap. Or buy different furniture :)
Well, seems discussion gone a bit offtopic. Project build itself is wonderful. I just noted unrelated things that I wouldn't like myself, as for many years many hours daily both at work and at home i spend at PC, so ergonomics are of high priority to me :)
