I just put it with the logo in correct position for photo purposes :D, some users have reported slightly better performane with the logo upside down...
They are giving the unit a two year warranty... which is normal , I don't think expensive pumps get more warranty either ( could be wrong though )
I might be getting the 32nm i7 soon ( the one that replaces the i920 ) and Im wondering if this is a better solution or just keep my TRUE120ex and buy a 1366 kit ?

Kinda want to tinker with the H50 but one thing that has been nagging me is the unknown lifespan of it. There's no refill port and you can't refill it yourself. Sure there's a 2-year warranty but when it breaks down after that, it's paper weight :(

I replaced my E6600 and Scythe Mugen (ultra dusty !) with Q9550 and H50 at the same time.
I am waiting for a dual rad version. Almost every case comes with room for a double rad in the top, this would be a perfect fit.
my first overclock attempt for i5 750 L925B626 and I must say very pleased at being able to do 4016Mhz at 1.264v load (1.30v bios set) considering I've seen other i5 750 needing 1.35-1.45v for 4.0Ghz! So my very good luck with retail cpus continues :D

change from stock corsair 120x25mm 59cfm fan to thermaltake 120x25mm 81cfm fan but with stock pre-applied Shin Etsu TIM on H50-1 for now, will swap to MX-3 later on

TBH I still can't figure how you managed to squeeze the rebranded Asetek in front of the TRUE in your test. I guess the low voltage on your cpu could be part of the reason. Others have tested it and found it to be a poor low rpm solution and about average at higher rpm.
Don't kid yourselves into thinking a similarly priced heatsink is inferior. As soon as you crank up the voltage on an i7 you can pretty much forget about low noise and high performance. Sure its a decent solution if you're space constrained but for anything serious I wouldn't touch it with a 10 feet stick.

A quick look at the X facts : (as I suspect you are referring to me and not Eva2000)
1) H50's performance depends a lot on the case used I used an Antec P160 which has one front and one rear fan, though my case was modded for watercooling and has got two top fans too... case flow is mega important !!
2) I used my clocks as I compared it also to the boxed cooler, which already throttled my CPU at them overclocked speeds.
3) Xbit labs compares the IFX14 which is 2-5°C better than a TRUE depending on fans used... apples to oranges with my review...
4) He lapped and polished his IFX 14 plus CPU, I only did washer mod to my TRUE. Could be my TRUE isn't giving maximum contact, though TIm spread was good enough. Plus I reseated it with other thermal grease too...
5) Maximum heat output with LinX with only 3.5Gb selected of 6gb ? alrighty... custom prime with 20K selected might even put out more heat in the long run...just not after 12 mins...
6) Even more testing remarks : 12mins test runs ? Cases interior/H50 isn't properly heated up, with my watercooling setups I've noticed hottest temps are always around 30-1 hour mark, longer testing results usually in not higher temps
7) Temp of the hottest core only in charts ? ever considered of a bad mount ?
8) Page 5 , look at the bottom pic : sucks air out of the case, not as Corsair suggested to suck cool air in from the back...
9) Each tester his own methodes, just compare reviews... don't set ya marks on one. All reviews have flaws as we need to take everything in perspective : Room ambinets, humidity, how big is the room ? Climate control ? ....
10) Reviewing hardware is very tricky and very time consuming. I've been questioned before why I don't run my CPU at higher clocks and voltages. Well it's my 500 euro CPU and I don't want to waste/degrade it on some waterblock. I've been even contacted by Corsair themselves why I didn't get BETTER results lol
My conclusion for this kit is : It's an easy to install, a good price/performance solution. Even though it might be just on par with some high end coolers it easily fits into eg HTPC cases. This kit is no alternative to a real watercooling kit. Moderate overclocked setups it can handle without breaking a sweat... If you didn't test it, no point in assuming stuff,.. most users are pretty happy with it's performance and ease of installation is a big plus ! Only thing we will have to find out is reliability...
You know as well as I do theres a very easy way to twist a test so that the end result favors one product. I mean if I tested the Megahalems with one fan at below 1000 rpm it will probably be the best heatsink ever but thats only one side to look at. I think a large percentage of TR product owners lap and mod their heatsinks so you're a bit in the minority.
Why would I screw up all of the air flow inside my case simply because Asetek and Corsair were to lazy to provide adequate mounting hardware. And I never came across a situation where Prime is hotter than Linx.
