thanks to all ;) its realy a honor to get such compliments. Today i worked 3 hours at the faceplate and it don't fit in the front. I remove thin layer for layer at the right and left side, but till now it don't fit and i do not know where i should remove sth^^... lets see what the next day will bring...

I had a lot of problems with my faceplate, because it didn't fit. I removed the paint layers step by step the last 2 days and now the Faceplate fits... the next problem is the piece of alu, which is in front of the front usb and audio ports... it won't fit. So i have to work at the mounting of this alu piece, to let it fit.

Thats the way it looks like at the moment( THAT IS NOT MY HARDWARE!)

And now to my big big problem. Yeah, whats a mod without problems^^ for every solution you find a new problem :D ... My Painter is well known for preparing old cars, but at computer cases it isn't that good. here you see why. Its the faceplate and the dvd-hole. There is too much material of 2mm thickness. The positiv fact is, that i have the original Paint here at home, so i can do it like spotrepair. Remove the material and paint it new.

Thankfully to your project I have already decided to give up all this boring black and grey colors and to go with green in my next build :D
