internally identical? oh yeah...sasha did review the hx1000 vs the antec on the 12v rail..the antec held 12v @ 11.96v while the hx1000's 12v was @ 11.76..

this clearly shows the weakness of the hx1000..above 1000w..the 2 500w independent power supplies are kinda...trying hard already regulating the v1 and v2 rails...

Testing with the Corsair HX 1000w and Intel Skulltrail proved quite difficult because I had used three GFX cards and as this Motherboard has two EPS 12v connectors this only left me one on the PSU as I had used all other spare ports, so had to do a make shift bodge job of joining the two EPS lines on the board first. it's a normal -30 @ 125W lol
make for memory testing so not that good for cpu @ high freq and high Vcore
i need it just to go subzero with cpus for testing memories @ max ;)

Im about to buy one to replace my TX950 ;) :)
