Mmmmmm........I wasn't aiming to participate in this competition BUT AFTER I show this picture form my friend Vince with the pots, I WILL..... :D
These are pots NOT to bench with but to put them somewere high to look at them every day... These are pieces of ART.... :)
great job mate
you really are a legend Vince
what would we do without you :)
FYI, stage is open for submissions :D
I'll send my Q9650_SuperPi result for XS Team later on.
I have a X3380 that will mpull almost 4500mhz on air but can't compete with you xtreme cooling guys..:(
I think since the rule is "Core 2 Quad" a Xeon would technically not be valid? That's something worth clarifying...
As the stage limitation says: "Core 2 Quad", not "Xeon", not "Extreme" :).
Next stage will be "limitation: nickname has to be movieman".
Would be a big fail if you lose that stage, though :D
Yes I can!!
But I won't :p:
Try me ;)
Tempting but it's no P55 suitable http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...lies/rofl2.gif
Then no Turbo??Quote:
PiFast ranking (starts on 12 Nov)
Limitations:
•Only use processors based on the Bloomfield (eg. Core i7 Extreme 965) core.
•Please attach a picture of your overclocking rig.
•CPU multiplier must be equal to or lower than X20.
since turbo increase your multiplier..; what do you think ;)
congratulations to everybody for the stage 1,especially to the romanian trio with their awesome average score!
i had a lot of fun messing up with my system, even without having the newest hardware around nowadays. hope i'll be able to join in some of the next stages.
It seems it's not over yet, Russia just took first spot and many in TOP 5 are one top score away from number 1
Great scores with the Q9650s at 5ghz!
I will not be able to put up a 9.2sec 5ghz score for the US before it ends unfortunately.... :(
