oh okay, thanks. i will try to find the max potential with these modules before i send it for rma

This is the result of spending a day with my first AMD-setup:

VDIMM was set to 1.65V in BIOS, all other voltages are still on auto/stock, up to now I didn't overclock it a single MHz... :)
The board is the same chew* is using and I'm using a Corsair kit, the frequency is totally Memtest86+ stable, I included 32M to show some stability in Windows.
I will test how high I can push them tomorrow, now I'm tired but happy with the results of the first day, and I thought I could share them with you.
very nice clocks and timings there don! keep them coming
Thanks! :)
It's getting better, still VDIMM=1.65V, rest on stock volts and close to stock speeds.

With single memory stick :(

My favourites, when I thought they are alive :(

New result:

Still everything at stock volts apart from VDIMM=1.65V. NB and HT frequencies are a tad higher, but CPU frequency is still kept withing stock speed region.
I finished the last memtest-session for today, I'll work my way further up tomorrow:

I hit a wall and had to increase VDIMM to 1.70V, I'm increasing HT speed so I lowered the multis to keep it within stock speed region. Still everything else on stock volts.
great results dondan! that corsair kit 2000 c8 is looking really good!
Come on guys I wouldn't steer you wrong :)
Just the price is kinda :/
yeah the price is too steep but i would have bought that kit if only it wasn't colored red :D
Your tipps are always great! :)
You can get black fins for them, and you can even get EXTENDED fins for them, the latter will make your system even faster... not... :D
No new results from me, I was visiting the IAA today and saw lots of new cars!
Impressive. This kit?

If only it came in blue, haha.
Thanks!
Yes, that's the kit I'm using! :)
Are those at 2000 Mhz NB or higher??
DDR 2 will never falter ! ;)

 :p:
good call.
+we all start using the same everest version (everyone that posted an Everest pick-has a different one it seems)
I get the "This benchmark is not optimized for your cpu" even with the latest
one.
also ganged mode=higher everest score (lower for multi-threaded)
All my screens are made at close to 2000MHz NB, I include CPU-Z in every screen and the frequencies are correct! :)
Haha, show me your score at stock NB! ;)

This is my final result for clocking my RAM as high as possible with the rest of the system at stock. For this screen volts were still at stock though, VDIMM=1.70V set in BIOS and all clocks as close to stock as possible. At 219MHz HT I got some errors in Memtest. Subtimings could have been tightened a bit I think, as I believe they were not what's limiting me.
Now I'm looking for max on NB and CPU.
Yep I did that when i tested tried to keep cpu near stock just to show how the ram impacts everest since NB makes a huge impact and can skew results.
Hahaha, that's crazy man! I'm looking forward to the results!
What kits did you order? Or did you find them on value RAM?
As requested, the DDR 667 divider does not work for some reason with
any of my (3) AM3 cpu's on this board, making things more difficult.
You guys get spoil ed with these BE editions :p:

heh almost 2 whole minutes faster on tight timing high clock ddr III. I think ddr II just faltered :p:
