I have mine set to 37767 and MTU 1500.
Go to dslreports.com and go to tweak test! Go from there! It's worth a shot!
I will. Thanks.Quote:

RR Cable
2Mbs down 384Kbs up
1.5MBIT vDSL.
DSLReport speedtests come back at around 1400/1400.
I'm happy with it :D
Nothing has ever beaten the 8Mb Kilostream we had at The Press Association here in the UK... phwoar! Only problem was the 6 webservers and 5000 staff all sharing it trying to download quake at the same time or whatever was the in game back then... think it might've been rollcage actually...

normally though i can get 500 on the upload score
as a side note i use wireless home networking through three floors of house, i dunno how much this would affect scores
Mmm.. I now werk for teh cable provider, sooo.. I gots a little bump.
But the main rig at the office, pulls about 3.5mb/sec
JBELL, your download may rock, but your upload sucks, and im sure your pings would too... But hey, if you're notinto gaming, then what do i know?
I currently am running....
cable modem > linksys 4 port POS router > 16 port dell switch > computers
In hopefully the next few weeks if my ISP lets me have another cable line...
2 cable modems > nexland 8 port dual-modem router > dual 16 port dell switch
We'll see :)

Not too shabby I think....:)
now, who the hell has "t1 or faster"???
4 of them next month. But as stated before, T1's are made for a lot of users, not a lot of speed. still, we can hit almost 4mbps where we stand right now.Quote:

me jelous.... :stick:
<-- DSL 768/128 Pacbell ..pretty lucky I have DSL actually.. I'm actually passed the loop length limit (18000ft) But lucky me I ordered b4 they set the "14000ft max loop length" rule =)
@ Work : 2mbit
@ Home: Cable (1.5mbit)
;D
56k & i cant even get ISDN :( :( :( :(
I have the worst cable in the world. I used to work for the company, I should know. The boss bought "used and dented servers" I heard from a friend after I had left... They are supposedly upgrading by monday so I may possibly get over 500kbps (or the 200kbps mark I've been struggling with recently)... It's rated at 1.5Mbit/s........
DSL 1.5 down..384 up and I actually hit those speeds most of the time. Best thing about DSL as opposed to cable is the dedicated line...not sharing bandwidth and no peak time bottlenecks.
Just replaced my Linksys 4 port Hub with a Linkskey 8 port switch ($29 at newegg) connected to linksys router, so I could add several more Folding rigs to network..get 100 speed internally. I was feeling kinda satisfied until I saw JBELLs speed!
belgian cable provider called Telenet, does the job...
not THAT satisfied about them (capped speeds + 10gb/month policy :s ), but enough for what I need it. Costs me about 40€ a month...

I am on RR, can't complain to much, these are not real bad speeds:)
56K............the humanity! There is DSL in the next town (less than 5mins away) but there isn't any here. And when it comes avaliable it costs like $55 a month *blackhawk searches for crying smiley*
