so it's a honesty contest ?:)
I am sure there are others who know exactly whom also to confirm. I also assume there was a limited number of these CPU's passed out and they might show up else where.
These chips from my understanding have different markings than other chips, but they show up the same in CPUz ?
This could get interesting.
honesty contest indeed :).
it can't be helped though
Update from FM site.....
Hey guys,
We're still going through the submissions (including Chew*'s score) and waiting for some final rulings from the jury.
Official winners will be announced on the contest page once this is done. I'll also notify this thread at that time.
There may still be changes to the results at this time, so stay tuned.

Update 2.
Chew*'s score has been investigated and the CPU overclock score has been calculated with the proper default clock frequency putting him in the #1 spot for CPU overclocking.
This should also fix the CPU overclocking score calculation for anyone else with an unlocked AMD CPU ("AMD Phenom II X4 20" or "AMD Phenom II X4 B50" ) in this contest.
The results are still being checked for issues, so stay tuned for final announcements.
 to FM staff....
Nice Job Chew !! :bows:
and Congratz !!
Watching to see how the rest of all this unfolds
Here was one of my results from the over all score......
My final score was done with 5989 cpu @ 1.875 vcore and 3800NB at +.60vNB_vid last day of contest.
Unfortunately it was a hail mary run and crashed while trying to grab a screenie....luckily I had saved the result already.....
Nothing stellar about this chip.......I tried to make the most effecient use of what clocks I had.

Nothing stellar, yeah right ... your definition of stellar has to be different from mine. As always, inspiring score. Glad to see you around AMD
Well, it seems you're satisfied at least, now that you got your win in the end. Congratulations.
Satisfied?
There was no discrepancy with my result....it was a win all along.....the engine in FM just didn't recognize it...they had to update the engine for all unlocked cpu's.......
definition of stellar....Subtract 150 mhz off these chips and you know what it can do with dual 4870x2s.....

FM STAFF
" Re: Gigabyte Dragon Overclocking Competition 2009
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FYI, current schedule is that we will announce the final winners list on Monday."
Today, for some reason my result on 6134Mhz was deleted from the rating of the TOP CPU overclockers. I do not understand why, and much surprised at this fact.
orb link still valid..

None of the components was not an engineering sample.
That's the problem. :)
Nor was mine.......not even a review sample. Just binning ;)
