When I ordered it said in stock...
well i emailed askin when they expect to have them in stock. If I don't get a reply I will call someone I dealt with their before for my rma.
XCS still has em in stock for $127. Bit pricey but if they're the only ones with them in stock...

Excaliber DID have them on their site, but probably took it down due to everybody on this forum ordering one lol
damn...was gonna order today...shouldnt have spread the wealth....lol
Me,
I'll wait on Newegg. I HATE these smaller vendors. I'm not saying they're not honest or anything like that, but I've had hassles RMAing to these smaller places before.
Newegg is so much more understanding if you're a good customer. I'm willing to just sit and wait...
Not that's it's easy
well im a big eXcaliber fan since I have ordered many times their with no trouble and have also returned 3 NF7-S board for rma without a problem one of them was even past the rma date in which i had to send it to abit but they took care of me.
Was it the same board you originally bought that was RMA'ed 3 times??Quote:

no it was 3 different boards. and one was from may03 which i was suppose to go through abit directly for the rma.
Man Newegg
has let me RMA after 8 months and I got a new board.
I don't believe there are many other vendors out there that treat
their customers as good as Newegg.
I think the only other place I would buy from is Mwave.
I hear Zipzoomfly {goolegear} hassles people with RMA's.
I know they strung my buddy around for a couple months on a
bad video card. They claimed "He modded it" when he didn't even touch it. He's a noob.
I haven't bought from Mwave in a while, but I doubt they changed their policy.
In fact, some claim they are both run by the same people.
I read someplace... somebody RMA'd a NF7-S rev2 to Mwave and got a rev1.x back. Mwave said sorry we dont guarrenty revisions.
Thats BS!
Really?
Now that's bad if it's true. I know the Egg marks the revision number for the V2 NF7-s.
Now some people might not complain about that since many claim the early boards were better.
I've read folks saying their older boards were better then V2.
Haven't heard many say that. I heard some say the v1.2 would OC as high in the end affter modding because it responded more to the added vdd volts. Not mine. Mine wouldn't reach 220ish no matter what.
GOt all excited there for a minute about excal. That's a pity. I wouldnt hesitate to order from them instead of the egg. It's a good spot for enthusiasts. Thay gaurantee some steppings and revisions, and if you're an abit fan they are pretty quick on those. i think they are affiliated. I been checking excal ever since I heard of the AN7.
Corbec... better get three. We know you are with mobos. This way you toast one you can still give the friend something. lol... Just kidding bro. Might not even need to vmod these really. If vdd was up just a tad their would be no need. I'll be using my v1.2 for vmodding practice or I'd probably toast one too.

bah i wont break it this time :D
anybody already got the AN7? :D
Does anybody know of any reviews on the AN7?
I'm hoping for better and stable vdimm support.
When you look at the comparison pic here, you'll notice way bigger mosfets for vdimm generation. :D
furthermore I can't see a external socket temp diode. Is the AN7 really reading the internal AXP diode!?
What Abit did is basically take the NF7 and tweak the living hell out of it layout wise, probably slightly performance wise, added uGuru and slapped a new name on it. It gets my vote though! lol. Ill prolly get one.
Mine just shipped out... 2 days till it arrives! :D
Also notice the stock NB cooler is heftier. I wonder what this board can do FSB wise. :toast:
I will be looking for better power subsystem (caps, mosfets, etc). Nothing more frustrating than having to turn off APIC to use decent vcores at high FSB's.
Just read a post in the forums of hardwareluxx.de, where someone already got the board and runs it at 250 MHz FSB sync. Seems to be no problem.
Well, and perhaps they integrated the ability to read the internal diode, because I can't see the thermal probe in the center of the CPU socket anymore(in the pic comparison above).
link, bitte.
Haben sie die unterscheiden gesehen?
Link Hier
I know a little german, but what I got from that link, is the board was kickin' some tail. Mine shipped today as well! Now if I didn't have this damn tournament this weekend, I'd get to see some numbers...
Looks like excaliber remove their listing of the board. now says product not found.
Out of stock is my guess. Mine is already in the mail.
