It looks great, are they MNPCtech case feet?
I've the need to second that! For a build at this early of a stage I find myself enamored by it more than most... I really, really, like that case. May need to pick one up... though I need 8 expansion slot openings on the back panel for what I have in mind... arghh.

dvd drive and front usb ports installed. The vandal switch is installed too, but not wired yet.

My pc on my desk next to my dell 2408. Just a little representation of how it will look when its completely built. You can't tell, but the hdd is installed in a 5.25 to 3.5 bracket in the slot just below the dvd drive.

This is pretty much as far as I can get right now installation wise. Enjoy!
Looking good mate
Paint the I/O shield panel :D
Thought about while i was installing it, but it took 5 mins just to install it because of the case powder coating. Thats the only problem with powder coating.. you get clearance issues. The I/O panel almost didn't fit, powder coating it pretty much would of made the situation worse.
Its been hard enough as it is installing things in this case. The motherboard risers alone took nearly a half hour to install.

I couldn't resist, I had to install the fans and pump to see how it looks.

I don't mean to be harsh, but the handles and the screws for the sidepanels make it look worse than stock. I'd just use doublesided tape for the window and use ikea bathroom handles as the handle.
It's just my opinion. I respect everyone's opinion!
@bigkr33
Just rattle can that IO shield. Tape off the edges so you don't have to worry about clearance issues and hit it with a couple coats of black. It probably won't match perfect, but will help it to blend in
You can always get a scrap piece of metal and try a few different types of spray paint till you find the one that is closest. :)
I'm just gonna leave the I/O panel how it is. I really don't mind how it looks, and its the back of the case. I won't even notice it when its on my desk. Thanks for the suggestion though.
very nice job mounting the pump and the fillport
The only think I need help with on this project is wiring the vandal resistant switch. For pc use they recommend a 420ohm resistor for the 12v, and a 70ohm for the 5v connection's. I guess this helps in preventing the led getting burnt out. If anyone has experience in wiring switches feel free to give me a hand.
Update:
I finally received my rad brackets. This time they fit, mounts perfectly. Theres still alot of little stuff that needs to be done though. I have to plan a layout for the wire management, sleeve cables, prep water cooling parts, get reservoir mount made, assembly of the water loop and pc parts, and leak testing. Stay tuned!
Update:
I will be taking pictures tomorrow. I don't want to take them now because I just simply don't feel like, and I have a few last minute things to take care of. Stay tuned!
Staying tuned.
Well never mind about the pictures. I just noticed a big, but fixable problem. The brackets for the rad cover the holes for which the front bezels lock into place. So the result is three lower bezels that stick out a bit. Its not a really big deal, but hey modding is what it is. I didn't expect everything to go perfectly anywat. I'll get it worked out when I drop it off at the machine shop to get the reservoir fitted.
Sorry guys :(
I was really hoping to have pics for ya. Happy 4th of July though :)
Happy 4th to you too!
Update:
I had to find another machine shop. The one I got all my work done is booked for the next 3 weeks. Thankfully though I found another shop near by. He agreed with me to get it done this saturday. I'm already working on the sleeving for the psu, and I gotta say what a pain in the @$$. It is very very possible to see this computer up and running mid next week.
Oh and just a little fyi, I made some cosmetic changes that you might like. Stay tuned!
Hey dont diss the ikea handles.
I have seen some sexy sexy builds featuring them.
Well here is one pic I took. As you can see i'm not much further than I was a couple of weeks ago. I'm still debating if I should sleeve the psu or not. I did two of the 6 pin pwr cables for the gpu, but knowing how long that took really does not encourage me to do it anymore. It looks good though because I did sleeved each wire individually. I may just leave the psu how it is and continue on.

I say sleeve ;)
red with black HS would look nice or.. red and black sleeving alternating :D (not seen that before, would be interesting to see:)
