It's arctic cooling you need to contact, our reviewer still didn't receive his sample for his Radeon...
Yea that's what I used: http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalo...hp?tid=CONTACT
Only emails and fax but no phone number. It is a shame that your reviewer didn't get his.
Arctic products are priced very good, value for money, Zalman should learn.
*crickets*. No but seriously I am beyond anxious for this!
same here...my girlfriend is begging for less noise...and so do I ^^
We whould wait for ATI's next generation.

that's a good start...but i'd like to see a review :'(
is arctic cooling trying to create a buzz ?
Yep, here:

edit: oops sorry wrong one that was for GTX 280.. my bad :(
I feel like Cartman waiting for the Wii to come out.
70$ is a joke...I'm very disappointed
Take a look at the cooler it's different and designed for essentially 2 gpu's therefore it isn't so unreasonable. The other ones sell for $50-$60 already and if you look closely this on seems like it has a massive amount of heatpipes.
Notice that at the frozencpu link that the one side shows EIGHT heatpipes and it claims to be able to dissipate up to 320 watts.
I'm not sure if it'll work...if you take the gtx280 as an example I kind of doubt it. The gtx280 xtreme cooler cooled the gtx260 well from reviews but even MSI's 5 heatpipe dual fan superpipe GTX285 cooler barely kept the card below 80 celcius. The 4870x2 has 2 coolers to contend with and a lot of wattage, it's seems we may be reaching the limits of air cooling if power consumption keeps increasing.
68.30 $ @ http://www.arctic-cooling.com/catalo...ath=2_&mID=244
so it is not much more expensive at Frozencpu
I was hoping to try one of these but ive gone with water blocks due to the time taken to get these to market, its a pity, i think they may have been pretty good. Their AC S1 Rev2 was fantastic for the price.
if you read the product page you'll notice that the $68.30 is the msrp so it may be cheaper than that as most products usually are. Thing is I don't think it's been officially released as it's not on many sites.
Sent am email. It's due end of may. sigh.
They did but even the official page says end of may now:

This is why a single pcb 295 will do well. Aftermarket cooling will be much easier to do. I'd expect that when a single pcb 295 comes, Arctic will issue a cooler similar to the above for it.
