I can't get 220 benchable out of this board... anyone else have better luck?
The best I could do, in Vantage, with my i7 920 is this:

Now with a 950 I did this, but still tweaking, because at 1.475v or higher the board craps out... bsod or even power off... PSU is Thermaltake 1200w which works fine on another board with higher volts...

is it safe for daily use?
vcore at 1.232v is decent.
how stable is cpu ? all i see is 3min large ffts which really tests ram rather than cpu ?
which test should i use small ftt or blend test? please need guide
I usually use blend to test both.

Hey Supershanks how can i change multiplier on my Extreme 975 and i have updated bios too? it dosent goes with more than X 25 in bios and is max there :(
Not sure how many of these MB's are still out there, so just to give this "old" thread some new life - I upgraded the BIOS to 6/15/2010 and installed a new i7 990x.
So far so good - 4.0 (30x133) @ 1.28v
I hope that my old 920 D0 was a dog and not this board - I never got that chip stable over 3.8 ........
Has anyone got the latest BIOS for this board? DFI's website is messed up (or non existent now) im having issues with getting Crossfire working, under Win7 X64 and Vista X64.. ive tryed different cards, drivers etc etc and the only thing i rekin it could be is the board.. anyone had this problem?Quote:
