You may want to try this software VGPU mod while waiting for the EVGA software.
Im alright with 702-core & 1598-shader and stock mem. :)
i was kinda hoping to see some 800s from the 285 series... not worth the upgrade from a 280.
800 requires 1.3v unfortunately thats where ovp dicks around courtesy of nvidia
they just dont want it faster
thats ^ @ 1700-1800shader ~1500mem
zotac amp runs 800core stable (1600shader/1300mem) @ default voltages
Here ya go Leghoof... I'm running a different driver than you and I'm on vista64.

good, but 1 question.
Are we not ready for new cards in Q1 2009 ?
I thought a whole new line of cards was right around the corner?
So there's 3 bios versions I see there. .03, .04, and .80. My card has a sticker that says .03 and the 2 serial numbers don't match. We all have vanilla Evga?
dengyong....what fan speed are you using for that speed please ?
My EVGA will hit similar speeds with the fan turned up some too :)
I have to run it at 90% to play crysis for more than 15min clocked at 753/1675/1507 core, shader, mem.
I'm getting a full cover water block for it as soon as they hit the stores.
I also have an EK waterblock on order :D
Running mine at EVGA SSC speeds at the moment.
ssc is factory overvolted.. my ssc default voltages: ~1.23vcore/~2.13vmem
and heres how they do it
http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/1...orevmemfh9.jpg
not only raises vcore up to 1.26 but vmem aswell up to 2.17
if that ^ doesnt turn your vanilla/factory oced 285 to ssc/ftw/black/xxx/you name it :)
then do vcore/vmem individually:
47K : 1.25vcore
http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/8894/vcoremodbi1.jpg
10K : 2.25-2.29vmem

Thanks NapalmV5 :)
Where is the core voltage measuring point on these cards ?
I cant find any FTW on newegg any one know what the ETA for these?
using pic of 285 not belonging to me :)
there are many points to measure but these are the ones i use

I have three EVGA GTX 285 SSC's.
My max OC in tri-sli is 750 / 1700 / 1420.
I don't understand why some cards aren't overclocking higher than others. I think these are over*clock* protected somehow.
I can't really do anything more than stock or my games crash.
I managed to squeeze out some FM benches at 756/1548/1296 but have not been able to reproduce that.
Even at SC speeds I get a hard lock in Windows with this card while playing L4D or Warhead. I'm going to be putting the card under water so hopefully that will help as well as the voltage tuning. We'll see...
Looks like I got a FTL edition as well :(
Yea something isn't right. It's more than OVP some cards would be clocking higher than others just like some cpu's. I go from completely stable at 750 to not at all at 751, on all three cards.
Nothing is that accurate.
Well, I took back my EVGA to Fry's for a BFG. Guess what? It's artifacting at the default OC speeds of 666, but stable @ 648. Go figure. :( I'm going back again tonight for one last chance. Wish me luck.
And...score! The new BFG's stable @ stock speeds and more!
