How much did each of those fans run you?
waaaa don't cut your fingers!!! i just saw the video dude....damnit safety first...nice audio though...woot!!!
edit: i didn't read the posts after the vid..you did have grills... good job:)
Nice video, but i was waiting on the screen going a nice shade of red when you picked up the fan when it started to move around the room.
sounds like a shop vac. :ROTF:
My god man, the torque and the thrust that thing has is silly. :ROTF: That was way outta control! I like it. :D
I thoroughly enjoyed that vid.
I demand a hovercraft build BEFORE you anything else. Balsa wood =FTW.

Yes, seriously do be careful even with the fan shrouds. If you push your finger and it slips in between the grill rings it might still get ahold of you. I've messed with R/C electric planes before, and have almost had accidents with propellers. That thing can seriously be a self feeding meat grinder. No joke. When you think about it, it is kinda scary.
I'm not one for warnings, and those warning that try to protect people from themselves, but these fans are something that should definitely have a warning because of the Xtreme power of them. A fan like this at 24v is serious buisness. I have seen electric aircraft that run on 18v with Li-Po batteries in them that weigh 22 pounds and can fly for 18 minutes. This thing has 24v and unlimited AC/DC power.
come on for the fun of it, 8 on one rad, u know u want to try it :D
ive just gota build one of these http://www.analog.com/library/analog...s/34-02/noise/
I don't want to learn today but I think this pic gives me the scope of what you need to do x 3.

*sees rad flying everywhere* :D
Well it might work I mean there are 4 fans. . .. . . hovercraft rad FTW
Dude you need 4 more for push/pull c'mon!
I'm interested in the performance at 12V, if it's got good pressure and cfm at 12V some of us might be able to run it straight off a regular PSU.
In the first vid i showed it running at 12V, it was pumping out a lot more air than my koolance 140s do, id say ~180CFM at a total guess. The pressure was enough to push it along the floor when I put my hand up to it.
Im gona rig one up on my loungeroom HTPC/Gaming rig at 12V with a switch for gaming.
