Nice work Charles and Francois.
They had already said these were going to be very special chips not to be confused with retail but we can always hope. This bodes well for the future.
There are going to plenty of records starting to fall.....
Where is the sub 7 minute 32M run?:D
Thanks for sharing:)
with 5.7/5.8 he'll probably hit sub 6m mark rofl
So, will there be a point in time where we can expect this of retail chips? I mean, will we get, like, a 3.6ghz stock, 5ghz OC chip?
what´s the max freq with 8 threads enabled? and max freq 3d stable? excellent results!
can you show it? coz i didn't seen any 6min results shared http://www.ripping.org/benchmarks.ph...es&superpi=32M
but ofc we all know its already done :D
anyway congrats Fugger, this chip is insane, have fun playing with
btw if possible (i mean its allowed you), pls tell us THE batch :)
I got the video on HDV tape and HD 1080i camera, I am starting editing ... (ETA: end of week end)
That was fun!
Cool, I can't wait to see HD Video! My monitor is 32" HD!
FUGGER-san
5Ghz with air, So sweet!!:toast:
Awesome clocks - hopefully we'll see similar clockable CPUs in the retail channels as well!
well done finnaly you can get 5Ghz on air .....amazing chip...:up:
how many cores were enabled, you can't see it in the screenshot.
Thanks guys
4 cores 8 threads enabled.
vcore 1.47v
vmem 1.66v
qpi 1.35v
memory @ 6
uclk @ 12
qpi @ 36x

** WARNING THIS POST IS IN GOOD HUMOUR AND OLYMPIC SPIRIT **
Now for a bit of fun, hopefully they green guys will take up the torch and we will see a similar thread in the Xtreme Overclocking section titled
'5Ghz air done Phenom II (golden cherry picked sample)'
where Macci will be dictating the action with his camera man, heeehehee
Lets see the action roll
:D
** WARNING OVER **
Awesome!!
Awaiting 5.7G numbers...
waiting for the results from the "decent" chips
wait for 5.7ghz score:shocked:
Very nice congrats
No offence charles, but youre efficienty is 42700 , i can't even get it that low at vista, the intel board is a sample board or special bios with lower qpi/uclk dividers? that would explane this and why you get it that high.
george o/c
running 1m stable here too at 4740 air...if i could run 5ghz+ it would be a 8.1xx pi 1m score. No tweaks or what so ever just run it..
