You're less patient than me lol. I refuse to use a stock cooler although I really would like to have it up & running but waiting patiently! lol.

I dont know why man, its only temporaty, it works, I can play games, it doesn't cost anything, I can get a feel for what the overclocking is like on this mobo...The list goes on...
BUT YES, IT DOES MAKE SH*T LOADS OF NOISE! :shakes:
I have the mobo plate ready for cutting, here is the pic. What do you guys think? Does that look right? I just did a straight line around the mobo and marked extra where the 24pin power socket and sata ports are.

Remember guys, still with only that stock cooler! :D
So you are going to cut where the "X's" are marked on the mobo tray? If so, that looks like it would work.
Nice overclock on the 920. What FPO/Batch# (i.e., 3837A728 is what I have) and how many volts to get to 3979MHz?
Sorry, here is a better pic of where I was thinking to cut:

OK, I got. Take a look at what Dangals did here. Note the hole for the 24 pin connector and the two round holes for video and miscellaneous cables.
Check out the rectangular hole on the bottom plate. For clean cable routing that one is a must. I would check out evil's thread as well. He also did a good job with his build and cables.
Here are some other good examples in this thread.
Here is my (pre-sleeved) example.

Thanks ShoNuff! I forget about the cables for the CPU power and GPU! :)
Powder Coating Update:
-Ive got a quote for £45 on the powder coating from North London Coatings. I dont know anything about power coating but would they do a good finish looking at their equipt? The other stuff theyve done in the gallary looks pretty neat...
-Now Ive found somwhere a bit closer to me who have just quoted me £20 for all the internals, I am probably going to take it tomorrow and Ill let you guys know how it turns out!
My build has been on hold for a while (exams and stuff in school) But I'm cutting the holes this morning and I should be taking it to the powder coaters as well. I will post some pics when it is done. Sorry to keep you waiting guys!
Very nice, I have a very similar build in progress also, I can learn something from you tcorbyn :).
***PLEASE HELP!! URGENT***
I have just got back from the powder coating place and I need to call them ASAP to tell what finish I would like. Does anyone know what the finish is on the TJ07? Matt, Gloss etc...?
matte finish
Thanks Evil man! Real Life saver!
I got all the case internals back from the powder coating place and Ive got to say they came out wonderfully! :)

Heres all the stuff I got powder coated. It was really cheap and really well done. I explained to the man that holes were for screws and had to be exact so he "plugged" them and every screw fits perfectly without a single patch of silver left! Plus its was only £40, less than anywhere else I could find and half of what most places were offering.

Its impossible to show how great the finish is in a picture but you get an idea.

I decided to get the pumps out and have a play around with where I could mount them. The bit underneith it is a Laing DDC mounting block from wcuk.
http://img266.imageshack.us/img266/5924/cimg2534sh4.jpg
Both blocks wouldnt fit in the place I wanted to put them so I had to slice about a 1mm piece from one of them. I am quite glad with the way it came out, (not that im a hardcore modder or anything). Even if i say so myself! :D
http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/5492/cimg2538tb1.jpg
This is where I wanted to mount them (kinda like dangals I know!).
http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/7189/cimg2539rv9.jpg
My next problem was to find a way of mounting the mounting blocks. Drilling holes is out of the question for fear of ruining the powder coat job and there are two massive holes there anyway. So I went for this foam that came with the pumps.

Cheers guys, more updates soon!
Wow ... the powder coating looks great. I like the pump mounts too. Some may say not to use the foam pads because of heat (although I use them and haven't had any problems).
Hey "Tcorbyn" which powdercoat finish are you using...
Wow, slick looking powder job.
Damn the TJ-07 looks so nice and easy for WCing ;). Subbed. @Dangles and BlueAqua, great stuff, I still can't decide on sleeving color for my mod =/
@ Shazza: I dont think the pump is hot enough to heat up the whole mounting block (that thing is like a damm heatsink) and the foam aswell so it should be ok. The most important thing for me is that they a firm and dont move about a lot.
@ j.almonte: I went on evils advice and matte finish.
@ rocket733: Cheers, here is the details of the place that I used (for all those living in London).
20 Lower Park Road,
New Southgate,
LONDON,
N11 1QD
T : 02083618553
@ soulesschild: As I am sure you can probably guess im going to do it black. Its up to you man! The TJ07 is a really great case to work with!
Looks great.... keep them coming !!!
if you live in the uk maplins sell them (it took me SO LONG to find them ) here: http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=34373
they are the 100x50x21 ones (slightly smaller but i dont think it makes too much difference. :D)
This thread has been on hold for a VEEEERY long time and now I should be having some time off school to work on this build...
Fist of all the list of changes I’ve made or going to make:
1) Two of the P6T mobos died on me (in a row!) so I’ve gone back to my original idea of a RAMPAGE and I am extremely happy with decision.
2) The 4870x2 has been changed for a GTX 295 which should be arriving on Wednesday/Thursday, I have always been a fan of NV and the X2 also died on me.
3) Leaking radiator, MY FAULT, I sent the double rad to RMA because it was leaking like crazy and there was a small pond at the bottom of my case. The guys at thermochill told me that a screw not suitable for that kind of radiator had been used. They said they would fix the hole no problem and leave the rad as good as new. So now I am using the triple rad for the CPU.
4) I am going to be adding in a NB/SB waterblock to the current CPU loop. The block I am going to be using is the EK NB/SB full cover waterblock.
5) No longer using foam pads. I plan to scrap the foam pads because they move around too much and can’t hold the pump straight. I’m going to have to take the whole thing apart and drill holes for mounting blocks.
^^^thanks for teh update, hope you get all your RMA's resolved quickly and good choice with the GTX 295, those cards have proved to be monsters !!!
Cheers the RMAs are pretty much sorted I have everything appart from the graphics card, which is probably the most annoying because it means I have all of this stuff and I cant play a single game! But at the same time its given me loads of time to get to know the BIOS (which is a hell of a job with the REII) and have the overclock just right so my system is perfect for when the card arrives!
Change of plan it turns out now Im going to be waiting for the GTX295 to be shipped from Canada! :S Does anyone know how long that might take/cost?
Cheers!
