Try strap tweak,should shave .0xx's off your SPI:D
BTW,you can get a 1M board to test if possible,this clock should be 8's something with the right board:shocked:
DFI LP DK P45 T2RS+ is good for 1M,so does Abit IP35 Pro

I wouldn't mind the 9x multi if it clocks like that, any decent board nowadays can do 600+FSB.

The DFI T2RS is a very good board for 1M indeed, with a non 45nm supporting bios that is. ;)

I have here 3x q830A E0. Can you tell me what type of aircooling you are using? i tested only one for a couple of minutes and i can do 9x500@1,23-24v for bench.

Still on the crap box cooling.

my ole co8400 did 9.838~9.746 iirc at 4.7
no tweeking just nice small drive 7200rpm 20gig & clean install

erickwok, man with your cpu @ 5183, a DFi with pre-45nm bios and some nice 1M tweaking, one could pull off like 8.74x seconds :yepp:
