I just checked my logs and I don't seem to be having any sending issues anymore. I just skimmed but I didn't see anything from this weekend.
you must still be having problems loony. I saw your stats this morning when doing the halloween race stats. that's a bummer...
Yea... I'm still folding though. I think my queues are almost full.
dam, that sucks... i'd start fishing for answers over at fah http://foldingforum.org/viewforum.php?f=52
my clients seem to be doing fine.. that's gotta be something goin on with your clients or network.
I will this weekend. School and work has got me busy. I took vacation last week so I could get the rig straightened out (among other things) and it wasn't enough time.
Stuff just doesn't work any more. :ROTF:
You aren't connecting through a proxy btw are you?
Not to my knowledge.
What is status 503? That's what it tells me when it can't connect to the server.
I'm getting points somehow. That thing in my sig says I've gotten 1258 points today.
503 is service unavailable, the server probably is having issues. Though what you're describing also sounds like the authentician problems for people behind a proxy using the older smp clients, I just don't know what to think of it sorry
It worked for me on XP SP3 no hitch...now Vista Ultimate SP1 and I have a problem.
It has to be something with Vista. Vista is also messing up when I post FAHLogs in code, it takes forever then says the server timed out. There's got to be something in Vista doing this...but what?
Do you have uac on? And the client in program files? There seems to some influence of that on the client with running as a service, can't remember hearing/reading about upload issues though  If so try moving the client out of program files :2cents: ??
And the server timing out isn't just on you, had some slow downs as well
What's UAC? I have the folders in root C:. I know there have been slow downs, but has anyone else been uploading 1 WU every ~20 hours? It's got to be partially Vista.
EDIT: Also, I have units from every server waiting. Unless I am hitting the bad times every time like a wicked coincidence...
Naw I ment you said xs timed out on you, but that isn't due to Vista, it's xs itself. UAC = User Account Control.
Looks like the servers are not accepting my finished GPU WUs... :shakes:
UAC needs to be turned off, loony.. not sure if that would cause your problem though.. it might.. smp wont run without uac off, not sure about gpu. I just checked my logs from last night and they were all sending, the most recent about 30 minutes ago.
Turned off...let's see what happens.
EDIT:Still nothing...now it's deleting the oldest WU and starting a new one. Yay...I'm going to try QFix/send all again...
Loony why don't you try running www.mtm78.nl/maxfah/fahwatch.exe and show me what the output is? Maybe it will help troubleshoot?
Had issues last night all of a sudden with my two GPUs not sending. They got work OK though so at least they weren't idle. I was getting the same error Loony was. I haven't checked them yet this morning except to be sure they were still busy. From the looks of the stats it looks like things are moving along again.
frooze? First time that's been reported
Here's the thread ( should be below this one in the index now  ) http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=206763
Aren't any real instruction to go with it as well, so idk what happend with you. But bugs and issues you better report to me there, or I'll loose track of things quickly :(
Yea it was weird. I thought your softy was just loading stuff so I sat there for ~1 minute waiting. Then I was like WTF and shook the mouse...nothing.
Figures, nothings going right for me lately...:shakes:
Do I have to use FAHMon? I'm using FAHSpy...
I'll post about the freezing in your thread...
Lol without fahmon it doesn't work atm. I could add an alternative way of adding clients and using my own clients file.
It should have asked you to locate a file, and when you can't locate that file since you don't have it, it should either error because you treid to select another file with the same name, or it should have exited after you press cancel ( without an exit message, I should change that ).
I guess I'm using Windows NT...heh...Code:Os version: Microsoft Windows NT 6.0.6001 Service Pack 1
