hahaha that name would be awesome lol
but the board can only support 16X 16X 8X for tri SLI so I'm assuming that you would use the third one for physX acceleration
i like the red and black, I dont see what is wrong with 3 slots?
most ppl go 2x2 or maybe even 2x3
ok i love it we have a winner probably it will bring the cost down as it only have 3 slots but it looks HOT
foxconn you have a real winner
The corlor so cool
I think this motherboard is actually better then some of the other x58 personally 6 dimms=toomuch considering they are coming out with 4 gig sticks x3 for tri channel =12 gigs more then you will even need most overclockers would laugh in your face if you were occupying more then 2 dimms anyway, but with ocz making 4x4-16 gig kits already ram will become available soon too meet you over compensaters dont worry, I run xp and ive compared 1,2 and 4 gigs 2 gigs is perfect amount and vista I do won ultimate 64 but not too fond of. I think this mobo will be a gooder but this is also refference it may have 6 dimms you never know and with assus releasing rampage 2 I believe they have upper hand but expect 7-9 months for bios too mature to expectations.
Smooth and Aerodynamic cooling, maybe for when you throw it out the window cause it's a Foxconn. haha sorry couldn't resist, lets hope it's top knotch.
Really nice mobo.
I hope this doesn't come out months after the cpu's launch. :(
The color scheme looks pretty nice on this mobo and it reminds me of a R.E but with other colors.
This board looks so hawt. And I love the ram slot. But the pci-e slots look they would be a :banana::banana::banana::banana: for tri sli and some of those audio and usb look they wouldn't be accessible with tri sli if you could even fit it in.
Great looking board. :D too bad it won't be available in the Philippines really soon... like it take another 6 months or so after launch. :(
Im with Sampsa on this one - wth with those PCI-E spacings.
Great to have tri-LSI...... pity you cant use it.
What’s with all this fuss about digital or analog? Does anyone honestly think they would release a high end board like this with out adequate power circuitry?
The only power circuits I've seen that have created problems are the early iterations of digital vreg's.
Well this isn't a budget board.
Don't you remember all the Q6600's burning up the digital circuits in the 965/975 days? There were boards with digital circuits from foxconn, abit, and DFI that had users posting pics of burn marks on thier mobos when extreme clocking quads.
Hell out of all the 975/965 boards the Abit 975 had the best power circuit around.. most stable and coolest running, you know what it was? 4 phase analog!
Doesn't matter what the power circiut is as long as it has been designed properly.
I think digital vrm only is a blessing for people pumping crazy volts under LN2. For normal users, I don't think it matters one bit.
Weeeell, the board does only have 3 DIMM slots, so...i'd say crazy volts under ln2 would be the priority here...
WOW!!!! Drop the IDE and Floppy connectors and dont use aluminium, or pre-fabbed barbs and we will have a winner. For once a manufacture didn't make a board with a color scheme from a Poke Mon cartoon.
Why would "only 3" DIMM slots make any difference for a regular board user?
How many people in the world do you actually think will run more than 6Gb RAM?
