Well I have 2 - Visiontek HD 3870 OC's, however there were no crossfire bridges?? I got them used from a buddy, I might have to see if he still has them. Or buy one off ebay... :D

Ket what tools are you using to modify BIOSs ? I wonder really :P
AMIBCP and MMTOOL mainly.
just downloaded both, as maybe i can help a bit, I'm familiar with MMTOOL but not amibcp so this'll be fun.
Hi Ket,
Output device request: How about a 'dispense fresh black & tan' option? :toast:
Input device issues I've had/am having, minor but annoying:
...and on a more serious note it seems my I45 occasionally does not always recognize my sidewinder at boot and I have to unplug it/plug back in for it to know it's there. It could be that particular mouse but I don't recall the 'winder ever doing that on my other boards.
I have to use a PS2 keyboard to enter BIOS, neither my old MS beater or the Reclusa will get it done (thank gosh for my 1999 Micron POS). I would love to know if this is supposed to be this way and due to some kinda screwy POST-order code, or if I simply have something set wrong.
I can set USB keyboard support to enabled instead of auto, that should fix USB keyboard issues during POST.
Is there any hope for finer setting with the GTLs? Thats really limiting my overclocks. Good luck!
Edit: I thought you guys were exaggerating about the ram clocking on this board. Its pretty bad. My 780i did a better job, thats pretty sad.
Any updates?
well I have a sidewinder mouse, and do not experience that prob at all hingeand I have a usb keyboard and dont have that prob, have not changed the options but there is an option for usb keyboard and mouse, you might wanna try to enable instead of auto like it comes out of the box
This mBIOS has the custom P6 CPU table, its naturally untested as I don't have the TPower yet, so use it at your own risk.
DL Linky
Sweet, I can't wait to see some testing!!!
Next step will be trying to figure out the crap memory clocking. I can't really get much of an idea whats what with that though until I can play with the TPower a bit.
I actually may be installing mine very soon, possibly this week!
I just flashed the BIOS Ket modified and linked above, and it boots just fine. I didn't do any testing though. For reference, the file name is: biostar aa710m1.rom
Nice work!
Sweet good to hear!!
Good to hear  next is we need people with FSB800 P4s and Cellys to test out the CPU patches
I'm on the case skipper!
Yo guys sorry I dipped out for a few days to a wedding. I'll setup a P4 and test it this week with the new bios.
TX!
Sweet!!!
can anybody tell me why my dont able to boot with the 9600 reapers at 1100 ? 541 fsb with air is no problem with my e8600 an the reaper, but if i try 550 nothing goes... my white mushkins the same...i little :banana::banana::banana:ty the bios for rams? maybe i am not intellegint enough but i think the rams are the problem or the controller?
It's probably not the sticks (though I would check against another mobo to be sure), many people have had problems with this board at and above 1066, and that's one of the things Ket is working to fix in his BIOS. For now, just lower the speed and tighten your timings. Same affect anyways.
ok.thx the fail post is 13 if it help anybody to analyse the problem :D i tried 1090 with i think 449fsb but it dont work too...and i put many V on ram ant chip and fsb, but nothing goes over 540 ram 1080 :( so should i run 533 in you opinion?
what voltage are you using? you can go as high as 2.4 without worries. You're running 1:1 ratio?
And the POST codes for this board (like many) are relatively useless.
I'd say set to lowest FSB:DRAM ratio, get your fsb where you wat it, and tighten your RAM timings from there. Use your sticks max spec'd voltage (or a touch more) to get where you want to be, then undervolt.
Use memtest x86 (from boot disk) 5 passes to test RAM stability, then IBT 10+ passes to test system stability.
yes 1:1. i think is the smallest isnt it? deeper i cant go at 550 fsb=1100mhz. i put 2,4v on the reapers, wich is ok to see in some tests. i got a fan on them so they are cold. fsb i think was + 0.3 - +0,4, chip +0.3. gtls both on 0,63... i think i will get 500x8 an let it.
one problem, in my opinion, is the vcore setting. my cpu runs 4ghz at 1,091, but with the fxxking options i can only start with 1,088 in normal, so it drops deeper at prime and i cant run the good vcore. if i set +0,05 i am a little to high with the vcore :( its a differensce between the settings about 0, 075. why there is no + - 0 ? or a standart setting? or only + 0,025 ? think this must be finer in the next bios :D
