you can do the fan hack in the profile like the 4870/4850 and can clock to CCC limits of 800/1000. Using AMD Clock tool resets the fan, RBE 1.1.3 you cant set the fan profile either :/
Don't be surprised if the hack doesn't work. Doesn't work for me on the latest betas 8.8 (8.54's)
Gabe & co, sweet works.
Swiftech rocks uh? :)
So how is the progress going on the 4870X2 kits?
Any ETA on them?
you should start doing these awesome ramsinks for ati cards too, especially the 4870 and 4870x2, i don't want to spend so much money on FC blocks as i switch my vga cards pretty often and my mcw60 did a great jod so far (3870s already came with copper ramsinks + pwm cooling :D)
Just a quick question, but do you think it would be possible to come up with a top for the MCW60's so that I can screw in a barb at 90 degrees, or frankly just built that way stock? I would love a GPU only blocks for my 4870x2's (yes, plural) but I don't like full coverblocks so a GPU only block would mean having stange tube management unless I went with 2 90 degree angles, which franly I would like to avoid as the block as a "built in" 90 already
That being said I fully understand that there may or may not be enough volume for such an item, but even if you sold this top w/mounting kit alone seprate from the MCW60-R blister packs I think you would get many sales. I know you would get atleast 4, if not 6 from me :)
thanks for the info gabe that's great news
love my 60 block :D

Still haven't seen your mounting kit or unisink anywhere yet, not event on swiftech.com
Is there going to ever be a unisink for the 4870X2 ?
And what screws do I need to mount my 2 MCW60 on the card in the metric system ?
I find it damn hard to find any screws made by the inch. :(
Thanks
It's the Caldera system, it's in another thread. I'll link it here in a sec.
