If you look at the charts the 9600gt seems to use 20w less, in 3 years it would make up for the less ppd ( in 2 years almost iirc ). Something we shouldn't forget here, it has no use to have someone buy a very fast card if they won't be able to pay the running costs?Quote:

Well in a few weeks I'm going to trade it in for a 9800gx2.

Get a e2180, 2x cost 2x cores.

I agree with Loony. I am not sure that a single core could feed three 8800GS on XP and it may even be a stretch on Vista unless OCed.
