Eh... A lot of hardware in the EU tends to equal the prices in the US, but the Euro is more highly valued than the US Dollar, so really Europe gets screwed on hardware prices.Quote:

Can't compare, with CPU's most of it is cache so when you have faults you can disable smaller areas and it's harder to actually have a ruined chip due to redundant cache being built in. With the GPU's there's a lot less expendable transistors, so it takes a lot less errors before it either gets changed to a 260 or becomes useless.Quote:

Same here mate. Wasn't the GX2 £399 here on launch, can be picked up for closer to £300 now if you look around. I'd be surprised if the 280 doesn't do something similar.Quote:
