Is it me or is the bottom of the PCI slot cover bent quite a bit?

Nice card and nice photography too!

yeah, the slot cover was bent when i got it. had to make it strait to fit it in.

im probably going to try to take off the sticker on the top soon

hi i was thinking of getting a stacker 830 evo , i know that they can be converted to Btx very easily , do you think it is worth it? il be running an asus P5k , 4870 and e8400 cooled bya thermalright ifx14?

So far it looks great. One suggestion you should consider is polishing the interior of your case. I did it on my old V1000 and it looked great

lowfat, yeah, i want to do that for this build. what would you suggest to you use to polish the aluminum?

I used used a good ol' sanding block and elbow grease. Started @ 1000 grit, then 1500, then 2000. Then use a good rubbing/polishing compound. I used 3M rubbing compound. It takes quite a bit of time, but worth the effort in the end.

did you de-rivet and remove the mid-panel from the case?

Hey lyl i just got that PSU too. Are you going to sleeve the cables? I had a shot at it and i'm getting there, but i can't get the damned ATX pins out of the connector. I've tried the 24pin, 8pin and 6pin PCI-E connectors, none will budge.:shrug: The molex and fan/floppy connecters were a breeze though.

I have actually been having the same problem! I sleeved my entire 24-pin extender without a problem, and i tried my took on the 8-pin of the PSU, and i cant them out! Maybe corsair did something different with their pins?

I just left it in, although I am sure a better job could be done with it out.

Hmm that's wierd. What tools are you using? I've got the Sunbeam PSU modding kit. I'm not overly impressed with the qualtiy, but it seems to do the job (with the exception of the ATX remover!). Has anyone else sleeved a corsair HX620?

This is a very nice, clean build. Its nice to see people pay attention to detail. You got a great deal on that case. Those cases are among the few that work pretty good with watercooling. You know however that 4870 is dying to be on water too.

i know i know. I will be getting EK full cover for the 4870 when it becomes widely available, as it seems to be the best way to keep the vregs cool.

When i do that ill be needing to add some more radiator... basically going to be redoing the full loop. Trying hold off until mid-August to do this. This will give me enough time to fully decide on what i want to do. And design a window!

yeah, just gotta bring myself to throwing more dough at this setup. EK acetal fullcover and a MCR120 on the rear most likely.

Update time! Its been a while

The Tygon had clouded up, and 4870 stock cooler blows (loud), heres my fix
-Primoflex 7/16" Blue
-Thermalright T Rad 2 w/ Scythe Kaze JYU 100mmx12mm fans
