Where is the imageeeeeee?? :(
Someone tell me how much cheaper this is than the X48 counterpart. If someone said, "here take one" what would you take?
Hmm the Deluxe and P5Q-E models look promising. I'm not sure what i think of the EPU function though... Can it be disabled, by not installing the drivers maybe?
Nice looking board, feature rich, impressive voltage regulation. Not impressed with FSB. 450FSB stable on quad core 65nm is attainable with most any p35, x38, g33, g35, & x48 boards, but thats where it ends. 45nm Quads are a total different story . 450FSB stable not easily attainable. I would be more impressed if I saw 500FSB 45nm Quad. I own a Q9450 and so far the best board I've paired with it has been Asus P5E-VM HDMI with G35 chipset. I can bench @ 488- 495FSB and prime stable @ 475FSB. Don't suppose you have a 45nm Quad at available to test?
@twwen2
Yes, EPU can be disabled. If you do not install drivers.
And EPU cant work if board is not on auto settings, when you OC board automaticli disabling EPU
And more Prime on same FSB :)

I so don't care if it can't oc any better than a P35. It has 10 times more features and allows you to xfire with no penalties.
So my last board was ASUS BLITZ Formula, and it was allows CF without penalties :)
Well yeah the Blitz wasn't exactly 'standard' lol.
Still prime stable?
Not, constantly fall after 7-8h of primeing :(
I primeing now with 1.44V vcore, adn we will se...
PS
But maybe vcore isn't problem, a got 302 BIOS on my board, which is beta of beta :D
Or maybe PWM or NB overheating, i don't now... We will see...
PS2
Next step is 500FSB primeing :)
7 hours is stable enough for most applications =X.
500FSB EVEREST memory test :)

Prime @ 500MHz FSB :)
Fall 5 minutes after screanshoot :(
It's very hot in Belgrade this days...
But with better cooling and little more voltages on ND & FSB it is available...

Will have my board on thursday, just got a mail from the Supplier... looking forward to see what it gives...
i wonder how much the maximus formula 2 will cost...now that will be a nice board... agree or disagree?
Several stores in Germany got these boards in stock already, very tempting, as they are pretty cheap ( P5Q deluxe).
if you check on google shopping ... you will find the p5q deluxe for around $220 ...
not a bad price for a new chipset i think ?
an x48 is still better than p45 right?
just like x38 is better than p35 ?
For multi-gpu set ups, X48 is better than P45 but it's a small gap.
BigJoe tell me one thing, the heatpipes SB->NB->back mosfets are all one peace ?
BigJoe, testing with 500fsb on your quad, that fail, the voltages of northbridge and fsb are stock??
now you will test with more voltages on northbridge and fsb?
No, SB>NB>PWM (left of socket) is conected with HP, but PWM over socket is not... I thinking about replaceing stock cooling with waterblocks.
PS
But maybe Maximus 2 is better way :) : ) :)
No man, FSB and NB voltages is in the middle of yellow zone... So i waiting to outside T chill out, and push it to the maximum of yellow zone :)
So everything is fine with this mobo and sounds so good... And i started to think about to buy one P5Q Deluxe... But i cannot assume only one think will Scyte Ninja fit in this mainboard or not ? I try before with P5K Pro and it cant fit there... I saw the space around CPU socket in P5Q Deluxe are same... So maybe i should buy another CPU cooler or to jump to water to use this board ?
lol i like how some of those pics bash on gigabyte. and isn't 16 phase PWM overkill? what is the point of having more phases? does it regulate and control power input better?
I don't know.... I got problem on BLITZ Formula with mounting swieftec Apogee, but on P5Q it fit perfect.
Also i mounted TRUE without any problem ;)
