Yea they're stable 24/7. I'm going to start testing lower and lower voltage............so far I'm at 2.36V. I have a 120mm fan over my memory and NB, so they keep nice and cool. I don't really see how this memory can take 2.5V.........I mean how on Earth do they warranty that high?
I have noted that several times.
2x2GB Evo One PC6400 4-4-4 2.0V that is the sticker same with
the picture here. So no question about that.
They scale like this:
1.9V 545MHz
2.0V 555MHz
2.1V 564MHz
2.2V 573MHz
2.3V 578MHz (only memtest no pi so far)
Settings are:
Dram Static Control = Disabled, Twister = Moderate
I have not tried DSCtrl = Enabled yet but Twister Strong is dangerous at that strap/divider.
Maybe is working with Enabled/0 on strap400 3:4 divider as user doom stated.

-Pay no attention to the VDIMM at this point I was racking my brain for ideas, and didn't care about vdimm at this point. This is not inherit of what to expect with your PC's running this 1066 Kit.
-I can't run 538mhz in DC mode, I have tried everything, have Thread open on Geil.
-Spent 6+ hours trying to get stable at 535 to no avail.
-They will run 560+ when individually installed, SC Mode. Even showed signs they had a lot more to give.
-Put them back in DC mode, they won't hit 538 lol.
My first clue should have been the fact they were shipped out of NJ, I suspect these were probably a Return RMA that was just boxed up and shipped out again after inhouse testing. Sure they will run the rated 1066, but I'm not paying $220 + $20 Overnight Shipping for a Premium priced 4GB Kit that cant run 538 DC mode.
yeah i guess thats why they only had the one set in stock and after you bought it they were back out of stock again..
thats a tough one i have heard of the evo 1066's doing 1200 so man that would be tough
In Stock at Newegg again...
If they are still in stock tomorrow then they must have recently gotten the shipment today they were expecting on 3/3.
Man that 1066 is way overpriced......
def seems like its overpriced
Strange that about pack date mine does not have any date written on them.
But since both single dimms go past 560 (just what have read over Geil forums) then it is your board, since when in dual mode ~5MHz max is around the loss so you could be around 555 easily.
I turned on Dram Static Read Control to Enabled it works also giving a 0.3ns less latency.
I will try now for Moderate-Strong but maybe i will need extra voltage on NB.
Here's a review on the GeIL EVO ONE DDR800 CAS4 2x2GB RAM kit.

The equipment used was:
Intel QX9650 Extreme Edition Quad Core CPU (Thanks to Intel)
Gigabyte P35-DS3R F11 BIOS (Thanks to Gigabyte)
Leadtek 7800GTX 256MB
Western Digital Raptor 74GB

Going up to 2.2v at CAS3 didn't yeald much further improvement.

To sum up: It's a well priced kit with impressive performance, especially considering it's a 2x2GB kit and well, they look pretty darn cool too.
The CAS5 overclocking headroom is where it's at so don't bother running CAS3 or CAS4.
Next up.....hopefully a set of GeIL EVO ONE DDR3 :)
Damn it 7 mhz difference with mine i am gonna to cry... :D
Can you tighten tRFC?
I think 48 is possible.
Also tighten other timmings (maybe that is why you have gained a few Mhz)
You can see my timings in the other thread (common for all 2x2GB sticks)
http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=177363
Nice results :D
Do you know which chips they use?
Ok, Gigabyte is not tight with memories as i heard, you used also loosed timings,
so it seems like a reasonable difference.
If they are not Powerchips (which i believe they are) could be Elpida?
If there wasn't the 2,2 V setting, I'd also say Powerchips but they don't like that voltage. They are too cheap for Micron, so Elpida would bei my tip.
Let's see what SLi_dog finds out :)
If he ask Geil directly they won't tell like other companies that keep secret nowadays the ICs
True, I might just rip off the heatspreaders....maybe.
Currently testing performance level 5:

Sad,i really hoped you were an 'insider'.
At that frequency on formula they should be at 50ns or lower.
You should tighten up

Can powerchips run tRFC = 47 at 540MHz or 42 at 510?

I tried every combination of DSC, Ai, and TB that are possible to no avail. Even mapped it out on paper so I followed some organized pattern of testing. Tried everything, except the latest Bios 1003. Too late now. :(
Strong works but it needs a lot more nb voltage but drops latency to around 1ns
Put a 12cm fan on them and the fun begins...

Notes:
1)With 2.2V if i could loosen tRFC i can hit 585 but mobo has not this capability now but i will try that on the future.
2)PL=7 also works there as seen in previous post
3)Loosen from 5-5-4-x to 5-5-5-x is needed past 580MHz
4)With the help of the fan gained almost 13MHz so they are getting hot with even 2.0V or the passively heatsink is not enough.
5)Price has dropped 25€ today in Europe
