AQXEA's are good for 2.3 no problemo. It'll top it.

i think yes... i dont think ill smoke it by running it in my nf7-s 2.0...
the worst thing that could happen would be that the nf7-s 2.0 reads the voltage pins wrong and gives it a full load of 2.2v at bootup, but even in this unlikely case it wont damage the cpu. there are people running 2.2v through their cpus for 24/7 use and after 4 sec ill already have accesed the bios and lowered the vcore to a normal level.
have you guys thougt about speedstep already? i mean if it works on the nf7-s 2.0 we could use it for our good! think about it, amd probably uses bridges to select the energy save and the power mode, if we manage to decode that settings and manipulate it we could create our own speedstep settings :)
we could set it to run the max cpu speed we can oc it to at default and clock down to 1ghz to save cooling power or keep the fanspeed low in idle mode, and then once we fire up a bench itll go back to 2.5ghz or whatever we set it to...
but i guess it doesnt work at all on nf2 boards.
Speedstep is not working.
The CPU will be detected as "Unknow CPU" on POST screen.
The vcore will be set to 1,55V as far as i remember, you have to set it down to 1,45 by yourself.
The newest Version of WCPUID will detect it as Mobile Athlon XP in Windows.

Mine is at the sort facility here in Louisville. I should get it after I get home from school. Gotta do some homework, go to the local computer store, go to the hardware store, lap slk-800 and northbridge, and then do the vdd mod if radio shack has SMD grabbers. Hopefully Ill get to do my homework in school today.

I get them from the local ACE Hardware. The sell it in grits from 125 - 2000. Its about $.89 a sheet. Got my fan and a new tube of ceramique, but fedex left a sticker on the door. :( I wonder why they never leave stuff and everyone else does. ok its up on nf7s default volts comes up at 1.575 takin it slow at stock 1.45 volts 9.5x200 so far stable chillin on water will try too keep you all posted ohh yea this is the 2400+ mobile new egg 0330 9

Parents are being §§§§§es and wont take me to get the proc or anything else because I told my dad I didnt have any homework and he walked in on me working on english. So f'ing gay. So I took my comp all apart for nothing and am now stuck on their POS compaq. :mad: :mad: :mad:
Only good thing that has happened today is I found out my XMS 3500 uses BH-5 chips after taking the heatspreaders off. :banana: Gonna try to find some old sandpaper to lap the northbridge tonight but I doubt I'll be able too. Wow not being able to drive sucks.
My NF7-S was DOA so I gotta use my 8RDA+ for the time being. Will post more later.

They don't leave it because they don't want it to be stolen etc. You can fill out the back of the thing they left you and they will always leave deliveries then.Quote:
