Damn, that is just silly for air.
-
dirty bastard and your 600+ FSB chips on air :D
its just too bad only P5B-Dlx and Commandos will do that with these 45nm chips...otherwise the 32M low clock thread would get some pretty crazy times in some categories.
-
yeah man
i wish my 790i could do this hahahah

MrRevhead (over at i4memory) asked me for settings i used in bios to reach this FSB
i thought it would be a good idea to just post the settings here in the thread for others as well
First of all a word of warning. different CPUs seems to react differently to boards....actually same applies to boards as i've tested two good ones now
RAM is even more critical. i am only able to do crazy FSB with these Crucial sticks from Kosta..............beats me why :(
Hardware used:
Asus P5B DLX DDR2 Motherboard (1226 bios) NO VMODS YET
(rev1.10 > sticker > under sticker says 1.01 lol but in CPUz it's C2 chipset)
Intel Core2 Duo E8500 Q745A703
2GB DDR2 Crucial Ballistix
PCI Graphics card (Nvidia Geforce 2 MX400)
620W Corsair PSU
Stock NB cooler
TT Big Typhoon
160GB PATA
Windows XP Pro 32bit Lite
Here is a bios template settings i used
