lets see a full bench like a 3Dmark on your q6600 with the stockcooler
hmmmmmmmmmmm 4ghz stock cooler ....
2 good be true?
maybe in - ambients
i call bulls**t. Even if you lived in the artic you couldnt do it with the stock cooler.
whats the load temp on prime???
it's pretty easy to figure out fellas.
before I take this apart, I'd like to say nice work Expander. you've done quite a bit of playing around and exploring. but you really need to fine tune a stable oc that can handle a 100% load for an extended period, then you'll have a very nice setup for folding or playing some long hour gaming...

the ss pictures tell the story guys. pay attention to the details. idle temps and vcore variances at core speed.
first ss: (suicide run, idle, low ambient)
screen capture run at 4.2ghz 1.66v, no benches posted... hd temp is 18c which indicates a low ambient.. cpu temp is 31c, low ambient / idle temps..
second ss: (suicide run, idle, normal ambient)
screen capture run at 4ghz 1.55v, no benches posted. stock intel cooler. hd temp is 30c, which indicates a normal ambient. cpu temps are 54c at idle, which sounds about right for an idle 4ghz Q6600 on a stock cooler in a normal ambient.
third ss: (1M pi run, this actually looks about right for a Q6600 G0, no temps posted)
1M pi run at 3.8ghz 1.56v. no temps posted. this run actually holds the most notability for me.. it's running at 3.8ghz@1.56v, which is slightly more vcore than the previous ss 4ghz@1.55v with no benches, because it was just a boot and capture at idle..
plus a 3.8ghz Q6600 @ 1.56v is completely normal for a G0. all 3 of my G0's do 3.6 @ 1.5v, but I leave them folding 24/7 months on end, so I'm more comfortable with 380x9*3420mhz@1.4-.142v, under 60c... (peace of mind)...

Expander, like I said you've got some nice work going there. but the only real one worth posting is the 3.8ghz 1m pi run. the others are just suicide type idle runs. which I know is a blast to post pics of, but you can't really do anything with the power except do a screenshot and watch it idle...
the 1M run is good too, but 15 sec of pi doesn't really say too much for stability. you really need a good 100% stress before saying "check it out guys"...
put it on OCCT overnight and see if it'll pass.. http://www.ocbase.com/perestroika_en/index.php?Download
then fine tune it until it can...
once you can do that, you'll have a nice stable sys that can perform like the workhorse it is.
Mine is exactly like his, even the max MHz, and the temps are high even at stock load, temps for the Q6600 G0s are well known. Needs 1.4v for 3.843GHz Linpack/TAT stable at 20C ambients but temps are way too high to run that and by that I mean, 1.38v 3.7GHz breaks 83C with TAT at 20C ambient, so I back down and run 3.6G 1.36v which does me perfectly fine. I was using a TRUE before but moved to Xig, it does better with the setup above 3.5GHz.
^ Mike is right.
really nice clock for air , quad core and 65 nm
