Yes, rev A2 ;)
780i = i680 rev A2 + BR04 :)

780i board is supposed to have 3 16xPCI-E slots no?
Nice one kingpin, does the board seems to run hot or much power. I wonder which board is best for Penryn with multigraphics setup (SLI or Cfire). Intel's X38 is cool and power efficient... Can you run triple 8800GT on that board?
They are both REALLY crazy, but charles is more like a stunt car driver and bill is more like a demolition derby driver :D. I think fugger has a bit more experience behind the wheel too ;)
Yes it is :). You know I'd take ln2 over DI any day. People were freaking when they saw me ram-tamping my containers with a wooden dowel under load mid-bench lol. Some runs I was putting some of my weight on the tamp during cpu tests to get it to pass 2006 over 5200mhz :D
Not at all man. This chip is good for -111 to -120c depending on what unit I run it on. My "cute evo" as Gorilla says tore it up on Dry Ice though.
Except for last test, pretty bad ;)
Andre my friend....
:D :D :D
It did great for the clocks that were run...no power delivery issues at all G.
Yep...it was great to finally meet you Vince. Also wanna say hi to the guys @ EVGA - Jacob, Ev, and Joe. Maybe it's time I do a little benching on my EVGA 8800 Ultra :p: . Charles isn't that crazy of a driver...he drives just like the rest of us in California :D
BTW Vince, I think you would have had better temps if you used more acetone, LOL!! :ROTF:
sick stuff
funny part of this deal was fugger with a hairdryer at 4 am blowing heat on memory??
vince & George.. i love that pics... really impressived.... I hope some day you'll came here to argentina to show us :p how does it :d!!!!
hey Vince WTF is that the actual vcore you had on the CPU man for the DI runs shown in the CPUz
can't be that good >> probably misreading heh
haha, good to hear the real professional uses that method with dry ice...i don't feel so weird for getting a work out during an 8hr+ dry ice session:

but i prefer a chopstick so it cuts through into the base packed slush and introduces new powder. my method on film ^^^
what ? 1.48v 5.18G 3D06 ? @.@
vince u are always toooo lucky :D
Vcore reading in cpuz was innacurate Vic, I am not that lucky.
Was more like 1.73-.175v there.
How about 470x10 for 4700mhz 1.67v on tuniq air cooler around 21-22c ambient for 3dmark 01? Now thats what I call lucky :D
Vince
how does 780i feel
is it still a :banana::banana::banana:ing pain in the arse to tune at those MHz like 680i or is it a bit less finicky
a friend has a 780i board from Asus but it's a dog :(
