Four more are in stock, order now guys!
They want $32 for 3-day shipping.... Hmmm
looks good, too bad i got the transpiper version, will i be able to buy these heatsinks to replace my tranpiper? as my p35 is on its way for RMA with a C1 error, i was thinking of replace them and watercooling the NB only.
Andrew
Someone said something to me about the shipping charges a few weeks ago. Then 3-day was more then that.
I've been heavily recommending MotherboardPro because of the pricing and outstanding customer service. But wasn't going to continue if people were getting raped on shipping.
Being as I have a UPS account I configured a shipment from me to them using the same dimensions and weight as the board they would ship to me. For both 3-day and next-day shipping the cost was within less then a dollar they were quoting.
While the shipping charges are unreasonable, at least with me, they are quoting the price they are bing charged.
Now this is just insane. There I was checking out the no heatpipe version and bam...pop up w/ this:
I just wish they weren't in GA. :(Code:
Is there anything I can help you with today?

I'm very impressed w/ you guys so far and would love to share this.
Mobo:
That would be fine as long as you are nice!
Visitor:
Of course. The egg needs a competitor. :D
Mobo:
Well, competing with them is quite difficult but we try to have the best service! What forum do you like to post in?
That's one of the reasons I recommend them so much. They're great guys and will do everything possible to help a customer.
damn... i think i found a new place to shop for MB's...
The board comes w/ 4 SATA cables, no? I'll need one more, but it's gonna have to be long. Also, I may have asked this already, but what UV cathodes have you guys found to be the brightest?
the transpiper version comes with total of 6 connectors iirc.
It looks like they're using the lame push pins instead of screws on the UT. :(
An update on Motherboard Pro. Just received a handwritten Thank You card with a $5.00 coupon code. Can't say enough about these guys.
i just got mine today looks like theres a sticker on it so you cant replace the northbridge heatsink.... if i had ever known that i wouldnt of bought this thing
I may have to get one of these boards. Will see If I can go by MotherboardPro. I live in the Atlanta area. could atleast save on shipping.
Well it's been a few weeks since the very last post, have any of you purchased the non transpiper version, if so what sort of results have you aquired on air as well as watercooling? :)
I ordered it about 3 hours ago from newegg. It will be here Friday. I watercool my cpu and plan on having it all hooked up by Friday afternoon. I plan on taking off the northbridge hs and putting a Swiftech MCX-159cu in its place, then placing a 40mm fan on the pwn hs. Hopefully that will keeps temps nice and low so I can push my Q6600 G0 to it's limits.
Nice one, none on sale here in the UK for the "LT" version as I can see, depending on results I may purchase one from another country. Looking forward to your results, the board looks ever so watercooling friendly compared to the majorty of motherboards currently out.
No kidding! I have a Lian-Li V2000 case, which mounts the mobo inverted, so no heatpipe on a top-flight motherboard is a dream!!!
does this board still come with the copper plate? or it's not a good thing to put on the copper plate?
I hope this heads into the direction of stock modular cooling options. That would be a treat. :)
@Nelly...you getting hooked up in this thread with what you need?
Yeah, at the moment I'm struggling to find somewhere to purchase it from I'm awaiting a reply to an e-mail from MotherboardPro. It's absolutly ridiculous that the UK doesn't have a distributor for DFI motherboards - DFI's loss!!!
