Got my 8800 GTS xXx 640MB today :D First impressions- Box is HUGE. GFX card is very huge and heavy, cooler looks respectable. v a d e R` is happy :)

Picking up li-li + cooling today or tomorrow.

CPU and PSU come tomorrow.

Dad picked up my cooling (Yate, Arctic Fans, Lights, Ninja, adapters etc..) and my PC-7B Plus II!

Talk about pure hotness?

Interesting note: On my box it says Lian-Li PC-7 Plus not Plus II but I have the 2 120MM fans and the 80MM blowhole so it's all good :)

Maybe I should call my build project "Light Side" :p: All the cathodes are blue and the Tuniq has a blue led fan.

Got my final parts in today, the PSU and CPU. Many I want to build :'( ANyone know if this stepping is good:

and yeah that 8800 is huge... i knew it was big but didnt know it was that big :)

Ordered an X-Fi XtremeMusic today :)

Any advice/tips for running it under Vista 32Bit? Will I need to change/install any special programs for game 5.1 support? I'm using Logitech X-540s...need my surround sound.

not really a benchmarker but year alrite u doin it with the free version of 3Dmark? Let's compare @ stock though because I won't OC it for a lil bit.
I'd say @ stock:

My GFX > Yours
E6600=E6600
Your RAM beats mine
My motherboard is faster
My cooling is better (doesn't matter since we @ stock)
Your HD may be a lil faster since it's smaller?
My Drive will be same prolly
My case much quieter than yours lol(Doesn't your case use 4x80MM)

Tired from finals + hot weather + headache = bad

well the "xXx" version dosen't really count as stocked since it's already OC'd.

How does a motherboard have to with anything?? LOL

your case wont be "much" quieter because I have replaced all the fans with around 16dba blue led fans. very quiet.

Computer built!

Wow working with a Lian-Li was such a treat! It was so easy from removing front panel, to routing cables! So sexy man. I don't think I can ever go to anything else now.

The system is nice and running smooth. Just installing drivers :D

Problems that happened:
The stupid Scythe Ninja pins sucked major ass. One got bent, fixed it but it cut me like a mofo.
I accidentally cracked a cathode. Whoops. But it doesn't matter, 1 cathode gives me more of the blood red effect :D

All pics taken! This PC is sexy. Might need to work on cables abit but the night pictures with the red cathode are so nice! Pictures later tomorrow (6/15)
