Oomph... getting mine on Saturday, but trying to decide on a new motherboard to go with it. Asus P5N32 SLI PLUS or Abit QuadGT. Anyone with any experience on either want to chime in? This will be going with the rig in my sig, thanks :)
posted initial results at 2.0 and 2.1v in the first post. looks like 4-4-4 and 5-5-4 is where it's at for this stuff :p:
very nice rams.. :)
Hi,
It don't seems to be D9Gxx chips
pic of the chips

and as you can see there is -18F marks no D9Gxx ???

they ballistix label is covering it up. it's there, i promise, you just can't tell which it is ;)
it is either GMH or GKX actually. My kit is GMH, irev has a kit with GKX ;)
i have the sli plus. with my 8000's i've clocked my memory to 625 1M and i've also done 612 32M before.
i get my 8500's today and I will give them a go on the sli plus as well as my p5b deluxe i have coming in later this week.
glad to see these sticks are probably better than the 8000's! :woot:
Yes, it is. The picture isn't too clear but it's either D9GMH or D9GKX.
Those markings are used specifically on the Ballistix-line by Crucial.Quote:

In this case -18F means it's memory binned at 1.8ns, or 1.875ns to be precise.
1000 ÷ 1.875 = 533MHz or DDR2-1066 or PC2-8500.
For example, PC2-6400 Ballistix has -25F markings (1000 ÷ 2.5 = 400MHz or DDR2-800).
Mine did 637Mhz @ CL5 w/ 2.25vdimm. I will test some more but I think I'm been limited by my chipset to to no more than 650Mhz.
Guys with P5B Deluxe and these crucial 8500s how far you getting with 5-5-5-15 timings for dual super pi 32M ?
I just purchased some Super Talent T1000UB1G5 listed as D9GKX and they seem to be able to do 605mhz 5-5-5-15 6-42-10-10-10-11 at 2.35v on P5B Deluxe 1101 for dual super pi 32M!

maybe same stuff as crucial 8500s ?
i'd tell you if i had a dual core cpu. would dual windows memtest hold much worth for you? ;)
and i know, AM2 != 965 :D
edit: 2.1v set in the bios ;)

To be clear.... we are talking about these:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148070
That are $145 after a $75 MIR?(or non tracers for $135 AR) I may just have to get some.
Yep those are the 8500's
you have to mail in the MIR by thursday. cutting it close... :fact: :(
I was looking at the non tracers just now that rebate says purchase by Thursday, postmarked by 6/3/07. I'll go back and look at the tracers.
Ey, Ozz, give volts to these little babies. Most likely ill grab hd2900xt, x2 6000+ and these ballistix tracers this month. Tired of waiting for K10.
Great holly hell, i thought i got an amazing deal when i ordered my tracres for 205. What have i done!
Good thing I bought mine for 249usd 2 days ago and now they are only 219.. grrr
Thats the best memory deal I have ever seen. Even for 249$ it would have been great and now 219$ is insane!
